Bill Slinnton - the bass-driven Toronto DJ and producer has been shaping his sound since 2012. Rooted in the energy of Canada’s west coast music scene, his style blends gritty hip-hop grooves with immersive, trunk-thumping low end. A lifelong musician, Bill began his journey at age eight on the violin, later expanding to viola, flute, guitar, and eventually Traktor—his first gateway into DJing. The discovery of early blog-era culture on hypem.com opened the doors to a whole new world of electronic music, sparking the desire not just to play music but to create it. Ableton quickly became his signature tool, and over more than a decade he has built a catalogue spanning trap, house, deep-dub, hip-hop, west-coast bass, dubstep, and beyond.

As Bill Slinnton, he has performed at major Canadian festivals including Ever After, Dreams Festival, and Camp Summerdaze, and has shared the stage with heavyweights such as Stooki Sound, TroyBoi, Electric Mantis, LAXX, iLL Gates, and others. His sound is shaped by influences like SuperAve., Liquid Stranger, What So Not, QUIX, Mythm, Zomboy, Mersiv, Oski, and Shades.

Whether on stage or in the studio, Bill Slinnton brings a cinematic, high-impact approach to bass music—full of dynamic energy, deep atmospheres, and emotional movement. His DJ sets aren’t just performances; they’re rollercoaster journeys built to move bodies and bend minds.
