Derelicts formed in 2014 in Lille, France, uniting musicians from the local progressive rock and extreme metal scenes.
In 2016, the band released SHAOURS, a self-produced debut blending sludge, progressive elements and death metal, followed by a series of shows in 2017.

From 2018 onward, Derelicts shifted its focus to studio work and developed a more modern sound, influenced by melodic and progressive death metal.
Between 2018 and 2025, the band released seven tracks meticulously arranged, featuring orchestral elements, sound design, and a forward-thinking production approach, while collaborating with musicians from the local scene.

In 2025, Derelicts returned to the stage with a renewed lineup and strengthened creative momentum.
Now operating as a five-piece supported by a dedicated technical team, the band delivers an immersive and demanding live experience that reflects its sonic identity.

With its musical direction now firmly defined and a drive to keep exploring, Derelicts is currently working on a new EP.
