Youth is no stranger to heartache, as is detailed in ‘I’m to Blame,’ the autobiographical debut album of gulf-coast-bred Koby Rowton Band.

As the project’s name suggests, the songwriting is full of self-confession, poignancy, and insight, from the driving restlessness of the opener, ‘Highway 35,’ to the no-holds-barred title track.

The 5-song EP was produced in-house by drummer, Paul Lopez, contributing to the audibly close relationship between story-telling and production.  Sonically, statement pieces of the record are frontman Rowton’s powerful, raw vocals and wailing guitar solos, as well as full band harmony arrangements showcasing the technical prowess of the group.
