The football: With the season about to enter its most crucial stage, how important is the preparation the players do, and the mindset they're in ahead of big games? Is it more mental than physical, and how is it affected by the manager, either in training, or with what he says to the media?

The food: Hot cross buns. Given that the provision of said seasonal snack is universally popular, there is a surprising amount of discord about how they should be presented.

Rory Smith is the Chief Soccer Correspondent of the New York Times, Steven Wyeth commentates for BT Sport and the BBC's Match Of The Day, Hugh Ferris is a presenter at BBC Sport, and Andy Hinchcliffe is a former England international (seven caps) who is now a pundit for Sky Sports. On each episode they discuss one footballing issue, while digesting a delicious lunch or brunch, and almost never reaching any sort of conclusion.
