Mushina - BEING Gathering Day 1 (Ecstatic Dance at Boomland)

The legend of South America's music is one of vibrant rhythms, passionate melodies, and diverse cultural influences. It's is a celebration of life. The music is also shaped by its indigenous roots, with traditional instruments like the charango, quena, and bombo adding unique textures to it. 
It is said that the music originated from the indigenous people of the Andes, who used it as a way to express their culture and traditions. The legend goes that the music was inspired by the natural sounds of the Andean landscape, including the wind, the rain, and the flowing rivers.

One of the most famous Andean instruments is the pan flute, which is said to have been created by the god Wiracocha. According to legend, Wiracocha made the first pan flute out of the bones of his dead children, and the music that came from it was so beautiful that it could bring the dead back to life.

Today, Andean music is still celebrated and enjoyed throughout South America and beyond. Its haunting melodies and intricate rhythms continue to captivate listeners and serve as a reminder of the rich cultural heritage of the Andean people. Especially because the music continues to thrive, with new generations of artists blending traditional sounds with modern influences to create exciting new styles. Welcome to Folktronica / Electrocumbia.

Landing back in Germany, my heart and spirit are asking directly again for South and Central America. So I felt I have to share the beautiful vibe of the music which inspired me a lot while traveling through so many countries. It's a beautiful downtempo journey which I hope will sweeten up your upcoming summer! Enjoy the sun on your skin, move your hips or just relax in your hammock, drinking a fresh coconut, smelling the unique copal or palo santo - a reminder for the magnificent • leyenda • of these sacred lands.

Dreaming the Dream at Dreamersland!!! This cacao-infused festival in Poland was as special as it sounds. Shared a lineup with Porangui, Ape Chimba, Estas Tonne, Janax Pacha and many other magical-music-makers. This was the first of two Apukuna sessions… an evening silent disco with a delicious opening of Iyakuh & Helen Knight's ‘Mamacoca’ infused with Maywa and Kora and followed by the angelic root chakra frequencies of Skysia and Sommer Love's ‘We Are Light’. the concept of this event i called MANTRA DANZA was to play a special "mantra-only" ecstatic dance set featuring mantras and devotionals songs from many traditions from many musicians/band/djs/producers from all around the world. i collected these songs (and many more) in the last 4-5 years and now i was ready to share it for the audience, of course i know all the mantas and chant them when i play, and also went to dance from the dj booth to the dancefloor ! that's why i call this Mantra Danza (dance). This is a live recording of one of my favorite sets from the SunSet Cacao Dance's I played this season in Guatemala at Eagles Nest. The journey starts with a cacao ceremony and then begins with slower, spacious music. The energy builds slowly through the mix and peaks followed by a cool down towards the end as the energy comes back down. These sorts of sets are some of my favorites to play. This set also contains some of my unreleased tunes.

Welcome to the third edition of Unlocking the Doors of Infinity, a musical journey created for practicing yoga, breath work, or anything else that this journey inspires in you.

I met Rikke this past January in San Marcos La Laguna, Lago Atitalan, Guatemala. We instantly connected with our passion for yoga, philosophy and science!

In this edition, Rikke shares some beautiful words to guide you into your practice and to return home in the end. She has blessed us with a glimpse into her knowledge and understanding of the quantum field as well as her profound connection to the body and mother earth.

Here you can read her beautiful transmission:

"Presence yourself to yourself.

Presence yourself to the movement of your breath, to the drum of your heartbeat.

Presence yourself to the grounding solidity of your bones as they echo the anchoring resonance of the earth.

Presence yourself to the fluidity and the deep sea intelligence of your organs.

Presence yourself to the electricity of your  nervous system and subatomic particles that vibrate as you.

There is aliveness here.

There is a pulse of creation.

Pour yourself into yourself, pour yourself into this pulse, into the currents that usher their way through the matrix you experience as “you”

Into the depths of you, into the deepest chamber of you, into the ground of your being.

Into the stillness, into the silence.

Here is a gateway, a portal from your being into your becoming.

There is a longing here, a longing for life to birth itself out of itself.

Give yourself to this desire.

This body knows it birthed itself, it made itself, it moves, it has always know how to move.

Out of a field of potentiality you vibrate into form; nothingness spiraling into everything-ness, pulsing between the opposites of expansion and contraction.

Waves of expression in an ocean of awareness and energy.

You are reality rediscovering itself
your body is the mystery awakening to itself 
you are emptiness, dancing

Give yourself to the earth.

Offer the whole weight of yourself to the longing pull of gravity.

To let yourself be held, to resource yourself in the holding field of the earth, in the felt sense that you are not falling through space, but that you are deeply held.

Rest here.

Let your back body melt like wet clay to the fertile soil underneath you.

Let your front body dissolve open into infinite sky.

You are the channel between the two.

You are the earth sky vessel.

You are infinity vibrating as form.

Give yourself to this mystery."
