Under the starlit skies of Costa Rica, we came together for a night of sound, spirit, and deep connection. With the jungle as our witness, Darren Austin Hall’s ethereal vocals blended with Sariel Orenda’s soul-stirring guitar, and live electronic music performance, creating a mystical journey through sound.

This was a live set where I played individual elements and loops from my tracks, rather than full arrangements. These types of performances allow for a more dynamic and alive journey, where the music continuously unfolds in fresh forms and new ways of storytelling. Recorded live at Yoga Barn, this DJ set unfolds as a ceremonial journey through sound, rhythm, and emotion.
Beginning with a soft and spacious opening, it gently invites you inward — grounding, centering, preparing.
From there, waves of rhythm build toward a powerful ecstatic peak, awakening the primal and the divine through dance.
The journey then melts into a soothing, heart-opening release — leaving the body relaxed, the spirit elevated, and the soul remembered.

Many described this set not just as a dance — but as a full-body prayer.
Let it move you. Let it heal you. Let it remind you of who you are.

Ritual in Motion: Ecstatic Dance : Yoga Barn. Bali

Waro is a traditional ceremonial song from the Yawanawa tribe, carried through the voices of Ninunihu & Yaka Yawanawa. Rooted in the joy and deep spirituality of Yawanawa culture, Waro invites listeners into a collective experience of dance, celebration, and connection to nature.

This song is a transmission from the forest — a reminder of what human beings have always done across all cultures and times: to sing, dance, and offer music as a prayer of gratitude to creation. In the Yawanawa villages, ceremonies are participatory, uniting body and voice in a shared field of awareness. That feeling is summed up in the phrase “Só Alegria” — only joy.

Waro reconnects us with the ancient essence of ecstatic dance — not as something invented, but as something remembered. A sacred act of communion with the living world, echoing the original purpose of art, music, and ceremony: to honor life and give thanks.

With deep gratitude to Ninunihu & Yaka, the Yawanawa people, and to Raio for inviting me to collaborate on the production, this song is an offering to all who are listening — a call to remember who we are and what truly matters in these times of transformation.
