I came back to Israel for a short vacation and my soul whispered to move back, so i did.
After 20 years living abroad,  this is a deeply meaningful process.

I'm very inspired by the expanding Ecstatic Dance scene in Israel and grateful that I've been invited by Nitzan (Balance the Horizon) to play my first-ever set in Israel at this scenic location. 

I was very excited to play, grateful for the amazing team, honored to know it was the largest crowd they had, touched to witness how the dancers flowed with the journey, and humbeled by the shared feeling of sacredness during the whole evening.

- A devotional Jewish prayer song by Ora Zitner
- A soft ethnic hip-hop beauty by multi-instrumentalist Adrian Atma
- A melodic masterpiece by Indian Classical musician Ravi Shankar and Neo-Classical composer Philip Glass. The excited response of the dancers to this song testifies to the maturity of the community here
- My psychill remix of Sheila Chandra's "Eyes/Lonely/Ocean"
- A slowish but grounded Maori tribal chant

Baraku - The 2nd Beat - Tribal ✶ Ecstatic ✶ Sacred - Live Set - FEB 2022

Recorded live on the Odessa Boat in Amsterdam on August 5, 2022. My debut set in Amsterdam.

This set is almost entirely brand new music! Released within days or at most a few weeks of this dance experience. 

It was an honor and pleasure to be the captain of the dance on the famed Odessa Boat. Where we are onboard a boat in an Amsterdam canal.

The Netherlands is actually below sea level and on the inside of the boat, we are halfway submerged under the water when on the dancefloor. We could see the water level out of the round windows until they were too steamy to see out of because of the juicy dance vibes.

The first wave of this set is a soulful selection of steady-beat songs. Where we rode the rhythm and got into the flow. The second wave is a Bass heavy deep dive into ice cracking, glitchy, tidal waves of juicy vibrations pouring down like rain and finally drops into melty, gooey goodness. We washed back up like on a sea shore together feeling cleansed and purified.

The night began with a cacao ceremony song circle on the upper deck with the incredible Leonie Bos and concluded in the depths of the dancehall with some sweet songs afterward as well. 

This set includes artists such as Sol Selectas, SavaBorsa, Deya Dova, Clozee, Scott Nice, Populous, Ayla Nereo, Ayla Shafer, and a James Brown remix.
