Electro-Soul Guitarist from Raleigh, North Carolina - Varina's musical journey began early, shaped by a deep love for hip hop and nu-age sounds. A pivotal moment came when he demoed an MPC at a Guitar Center, sparking a fascination with electronic music. Soon after, he began producing tracks in FL Studio, diving into the world of synths and sampling.

As his style evolved, Varina gradually blended in elements of funk, reggae, and psychedelic rock—drawing inspiration from artists like Burning Spear, Trey Anastasio, and Gorillaz. These influences led to the creation of several high school side projects, including B4 Dawn, Tune Solar, and Hunting Bears.

In 2013, Varina released his debut single, Ellyn—an experimental track that layered acoustic textures with vocal samples. It wasn’t until years later, following the loss of a close family member, that he began crafting his first EP, Moai.

Now based in Denver, Varina continues to make music and remains an active supporter of the local electronic scene.
