her creative method is to pull thistles from her soul and sketch them quickly before they wither... this "music" has been favorably compared to having four inebriated drummers try to break into your apartment while the neighbor tries to drown them out with dub reggae and your cat is inexplicably in the dryer yet again.

her short term goals are to complete the current album she is recording and, if it isn't terrible, release it... her long term goal is to contain The Angel Of Inevitability and, if it isn't terrible, release it. yay achievable goals!

she is also the artist formerly known as Godfrey Damrath and her name is now a mega super cool symbol that looks vaguely astrological and sounds like whoooooosh and you could totally write it on your notebook if you had a Sharpie and a notebook.

Gizz Van Buskirk (pronounced ˈgiz væn bʌskɜːʳk) is the electronic music recording project of  Mike Damrath, from Richmond, Virginia, USA. Originally raised northern New Jersey and then in the mountains of upstate New York. He was influenced by a steady diet of British first and new wave rock, with heaping helpings of The Beatles, Queen, Gary Numan, John Foxx, Jean-Michel Jarre, Roland Orzabal, and Thomas Dolby. Mike played drums and sax for a number of bands over the years including Fail East, Fevered Train, and the Screaming Attack Shrimp before striking out on his own under the name Gizz Van Buskirk.
