been awhile,
since I sat down,
trying to write this shit,
been working late,
but these thoughts,
don't seem to quit,

still cooking shit?
nobody cares,

Thought I would do something a bit more chill, after the piano concerto. So this is a serenade or nocturne, if you will. The title is a play on the famous work Eine Kleine Nachtmusik, (A Little Night Music.)

Stille Nacht, heilige Nacht

Lady Shattering
Tried to raise him well
But little Tommy Boy
Gave his Mother Hell

When she’d had enough
She’d say: “You’re gonna get it, Tom
When your Dad gets home
From Vietnam!”

Tommy found himself
Out on the ocean wide
Eventually ended up
On the other side

Where he settled down
It weren’t on a whim
He had met a girl
Who meant the world to him

He learned to hunt
& ride a horse from her
But then his Country came
To take her Forest from her

They were arguing
When the cluster bomb
Tore her limb from limb
Right in front of him

Tom Shattering
Never had a doubt
When he passed the note
That sold his Country out

So they locked him up
& as you might’ve guessed
Lady Shattering
Died penniless

Has it been thirty years?
I guess it must’ve been
A little boarding house
Tom is checking in

& the host is rude
“Are you a traitor, Tom?
We get a lot of them
We get a lot of them.”

Barrier l need you.
When you gone , l will grow.

My body empty shell while you passed away ,
but l aware of need a new soul.
