Aira bajo el seudónimo de "Aria" comenzó a trabajar su proyecto solitario el año 2007.

Tras 2 años de estudios y grabaciones experimentales junto a músicos locales, se logró concebir un material de prueba para poner en marcha el proyecto.

El año 2010 fue definitivo en la producción de material auditivo.
Se integraron nuevos músicos a trabajar junto a Aira en el proyecto para la grabación del álbum que sería lanzado a mediados del año siguiente.

El el año 2011, Aira oficializó su proyecto solista como banda bajo el nombre de ARIA, cambiando su seudónimo antiguo [Aria] por Aira para evitar confusiones.

Actualmente ARIA está trabajando en nuevo material compositivo y audiovisual.
