
Not many people are built to last in the music industry of today.  It is even harder if you are a rapper.  One can't simply rely on skill anymore; you have to be dedicated to the daily grind and able to master writing catchy club anthems without losing one's street image.  Wispers is truly one of a dying breed.  Since starting Code of Silence Entertainment (C.O.S. Ent.) in 2003 Wispers has caught the ear of industry heavyweights such as DJ Sickamore, OG Ron C, Riggs Morales & Jon Gottlieb thru the releases of his singles and mixtapes.  He estimates about 15,000 of his cd’s have hit the streets over the years building his reputation as of the leaders of the new East Coast era.  All this while serving time in federal prison and witnessing the death of his brother in shooting that nearly left Wispers paralized.  Wispers is the man every girl wants and who every rapper wants to be.  For years Wispers has been preparing to tell his story and now the world finally seems to be ready to hear it.

  Born in Boston, Wispers first began writing lyrics in order to share them with his sister who was born with a hearing impairment.  His lyrical ability soon earned him a reputation but Wispers also began earning a bigger name on the streets.  Getting arrested serveral times as a teen Wispers' mother moved him all around Boston and it's surrounding cities to New York and Florida in hopes of saving her son from the streets.  The experience of living in so many different regions gave Wispers the ability write songs that everyone would like.  Wispers helped start Split2nd Entertainment and was fast becoming one of rap's most promising talents but it wasn't paying the bills.  Wispers found himself in prison and once released he was no longer the label's main focus.

  In 2003 Wispers returned to the streets where he ended up selling a gun to a federal informant wearing a wire.  It was at this moment that Wispers would create C.O.S. Entertainment.  Knowing he was going back to prison Wispers enlisted various friends to help run the label in his absence.  Before returning to jail a single titled "Game's On The Line" featuring former Terror Squad member Triple Seis was printed on vinyl and shortly after it's released Wispers was sent back to prison.  The song still garnered major radio airplay and C.O.S. released a mixtape titled "Guilty By Association".  The mixtape was a collection of songs Wispers had recorded for his debut album "Wispers In The Dark", which was never released.

  Finally returning home in early 2005 Wispers released the now classic "Go Fuck Yourself Vol.1" mixtape.  The mixtape became infamous due to the use of the wiretaps from his court case as segways to the music.  In 2007 Wispers connected C.O.S. with Seawood Records/Risk Music Group to release "Sweet Nothings" via Digiwaxx.  The single featured songstriss Candace Jones and legendary producer Dame Grease on the beat.  Wispers then released "Go F*ck Yourself Vol. 2" and major labels began showing interest.  It was then that Wispers found himself victim to nightclub shooting which sent a bullet clear thru both his legs and his brother dead.

  Most people would quit after so much struggle, but not Wispers.  Within a month Wispers was back performing shows and recording more than ever.  In Summer of 2008 Wispers released "Champagne" and "Power" on Digiwaxx via Seawood Records/Risk Music Group.  The singles marked the beginning of a new phase for Wispers.  A phase marked with an unheard of hunger to make it.

  Since their release Wispers debuted a brand website (www.iamwispers.com) and recorded 60 new songs.  He has chosen the best 15 for his new mixtape “Step Your Game Up” and has begun recording material for his debut album which he has titled “Ain’t No Plan B”.  The title signifies his new approach to the music industry and how failure is not an option.

Biblical Proportion has been creating and playing their own style of electronic music for over a decade. With roots in Detroit techno and electro, they have created their own sound and found a way to stand out with their live PA performances. They continue to grow and evolve their sound even today.

Visage began in 1978 when Steve Strange and Blitz Club partner-in-crime, Rusty Egan, joined forces with Midge Ure to create a futuristic, synthesizer-led group where style and fashion were matched with experimental, yet accessible music. They recorded their first demos in EMIs Manchester Square studios and soon honed a futuristic, synthesizer-based sound. They recorded their first single "Tar" with Martin Rushent at his Genetic Studio in 1978 (shortly to become the birthplace of the Human League's "Dare" album).

Later in 1978 the group was augmented with members of Magazine (John McGeoch, Dave Formula and Barry Adamson) and Billy Currie from the soon to be leaderless John Foxx incarnation of Ultravox. Their breakthrough track "Fade To Grey" was written with Chris Payne, the keyboard player from Gary Numan’s touring band. It became a European hit and reached number one in eight countries in 1980. The band enjoyed follow up success with the singles "Mind Of A Toy" and "Visage".

In 1980 Midge Ure and Billy Currie returned to the newly reformed Ultravox and recorded the "Vienna" and "Rage In Eden" albums. The pair returned to Visage in 1981 to begin work on the second album. By this time John McGeoch had left to join Siouxsie and the Banshees. "The Anvil" was released in 1982 and named after a nightclub in New York City. It spawned the hit singles "Night Train", "The Anvil" and "The Damned Don’t Cry". Shortly after, Midge Ure and Billy Currie left to concentrate on what became one of the biggest bands of the early 80s, Ultravox. Steve Barnacle joined to replace bass player Barry Adamson in 1982 and played a key role in creating the stand alone single "Pleasure Boys", released in October 1982.

In 1984 the third Visage album "Beat Boy" was released. The single "Love Glove" became a hit throughout Europe and the "Beat Boy" single followed. 

In 2013 the fourth Visage album "Hearts and Knives" was released. The title was not only a paraphrased lyric from the lead single "Shameless Fashion" but also a metaphor for the past 29 years of Steve Strange and Visage. The first song to be written for the album was co-written with former Visage and Magazine keyboard player Dave Formula. "Diaries Of A Madman". Mick MacNeil the creative musical core of Simple Minds contributed to two songs, "She's Electric (Coming Around)" and the radio friendly "Dreamer I Know" (which was also co-written with bass played from Killing Joke, Youth). The comeback was successfully received and had six tracks released as singles.

In 2014 Visage were invited to play alongside a 30 piece Orchestra to close the World Ski Jumping Championships. This led to the band putting a new spin on the traditional "Greatest Hits" album, by performing new versions of their most loved songs backed by Orchestras.The "Orchestral" album featured a new eight-minute-long symphonic version of "Fade To Grey" as its lead single. Logan Sky, live synthesist since 2009, now joined the band.

In February 2015 Steve Strange sadly died whilst on holiday in Egypt. The world had lost one of its most creative music and fashion icons of recent years. After the shock of losing their leader the band rather than leave the fifth and final studio album uncompleted, decided to press on and complete “Demons To Diamonds”. The album cover art was photographed by Boy George. Musical contributions came Mick MacNeil, Didier Marouani ( Space “Magic Fly”) and featured a cover version of the David Bowie song “Loving The Alien”.

With the loss of their inspirational and majestic leader, Visage decided to disband in 2015 after the release of their final work. Their body of work consists of five studio albums, numerous singles and numerous compilations. For the first time in 2016 - and with the participation of all Visage record labels - the compilation “The Wild Life (1978-2015)” was the first release to bring all of their best loved songs together into one definitive release.

Instead of counting streams, chasing likes on social media, or making thirty second videos desperately begging for attention on that Tik Tak or whatever it's called, Slackeye Slim has always stayed true to himself, his love for the West, and his accidentally earned enigmatic reputation.   Amused by a rumor he saw circulating online that he didn’t actually exist, he decided to run with it.  

“Like many of the leathered-skinned, sand-blasted, sullen and desperate characters which populate his stories, Slackeye Slim seems more apparition than man, shifting in and out of the material consciousness, showing up when you least expect him, and disappearing for years at a time in between.” - Saving Country Music 

Slackeye Slim has been the de facto OG of the western genre since 2006. Taking influence from an abrupt decision to move to Butte, Montana at the age of 21 and working for a year as a classic country radio DJ, Slackeye Slim abandoned his early influences in punk and metal and traded them in for country music. After struggling to make ends meet in Montana, he returned to his native Ohio and got his start singing the over-the-top cowboy songs found on his first album "Texas Whore Pleaser" accompanied by distorted acoustic guitar at legendary punk rock dive bars like Annabelle's in Akron.

Coming up during the rise of the early 2000’s underground country scene, a movement in which he never fit in, he now finds himself not fitting in with the current resurgence of western musicians. No matter what was in fashion at the time, he has always chosen to pursue music on his own terms without worrying about the outcome; quietly pouring over his songs, releasing them for free or pay what you want, and then immediately vanishing into the emptiness of the American West again to live outside of the spotlight. 

Slackeye Slim has been described as “what it would sound like if Ennio Morricone wanted to be Link Wray when he grew up” - No Depression. “He never intended to be a part of any genre, but it didn’t stop his 2011 album El Santo Grial: La Pistola Piadosa from becoming one of the best western-inspired albums in the dying gasps of the alternative country movement.” - The Musical Divide 

While all eyes were on him following the release of his second album "El Santo Grial: La Pistola Piadosa," Slackeye weighed his options. With things linings up in his favor to break out of the underground, he decided to skip touring life and instead moved to a 2000 acre ranch in western Colorado. He began working on his third album, "Giving My Bones to the Western Lands." Recorded entirely in the abandoned homestead buildings on the ranch, this album marked a shift in focus from metaphysical cowboy tales to more personal songwriting, although there was still plenty of irreverent gunslinger swagger to be found. 

In the spring of 2020, Slackeye decided to use his music to help raise money for organizations on the front lines of covid relief. Performing several online streams from remote and incredibly scenic locations around SW Colorado, and organizing a benefit for Navajo and Pueblo covid relief, he was able to help raise nearly $10,000 dollars from all of his fundraising efforts.

Currently, Slackeye Slim lives in the middle of nowhere in the desert of Southwest Colorado where he raises a family, roams the surrounding canyon country in search of Ancestral Puebloan ruins, and builds his own instruments.

He is working on his fourth album, slated to be released sometime in late 2022 or early 2023.

The way it was is still the way it is

Michael A. Gash was born in Atlanta, GA in 1990. He began playing piano at age 5, and though no one in his immediate family shared a talent for music, he seemed to pick up the instrument very quickly. He took up trumpet in the 4th grade, and furthered his musical range in high school by taking up banjo.

In his final year at high school, Michael A. Gash took up the name Man Holding Lantern and began making electronic music. Though he still composes original orchestral pieces and small ensemble compositions, Michael Gash devotes much of his time to create house and dance music.

Due to his background in traditional music arrangement, the music of Man Holding Lantern is unlike much of the contemporary electronic music out there. The melodies are often intricate, and rely heavily on the smooth chord progressions underlying them. Tracks are built like a work of classical music, with intros that hint at themes that will be varied later in the track.

With such influences as Rusko, Pretty Lights, The Glitch Mob, Feed Me, Justice and Daft Punk; it is clear there is a solid foundation of great music from which to be inspired. With truly a unique blend of sounds; ranging from relaxing tracks with dark melodies and smooth transitions, to intense electro-house mixes that will have everyone dancing and begging for more, Man Holding Lantern can be called one of the most diverse electronic artists of this time.
