Episode 90 - Goats After Dark, Rev 4

Damon and Damo are joined by CMDCS Aaron Paul. They off talking about the upcoming season (of course). Not just the football season, it’s about to be some new Chiefs in the mess! Congratulations to the FY-23 Selectees! They chop it up with Aaron about his entry into the Navy and the two times that he considered separating. Another installment of the “Do Better” segment about waivers, doing “too much” to go viral, and communication. Damo asks Aaron for a non-incriminating regret of his. This leads to a conversation about CFLs and the responsibility of owning your role. DRB is discussed and the guys give their opinions on their different approaches to the process. Damo briefly discusses Navy Seal recruit, Kyle Mullen who recently passed away following “Hell Week.” You know we had to discuss Serena Williams. Congratulations on a great career. Who really should be taking out the trash? The guys discuss a recent post on social media about taking out the trash for the TRIAD. Entrepreneur/Author/Writer Alana M. Abernethy joins the show again. This makes her our first official “Repeat Guest,” which is another first for Alana! Shout out to everyone who must go to work no matter what the weather report says. You are true MVPs. Damon wants to make sure everyone is reminded that a war is on the horizon. We need to be ready. Marines are utilizing cheap tech for advances in security measures. Free Wifi is coming to the barracks, but is there a catch? Let’s discuss. Another win for UH Residents, we are now finally able to cook in our barracks. Finally!?! Boeing takes another hit regarding the safety of their airplanes. Johnson and Johnson are in the news for filing bankruptcy amongst other things. A recent Reddit post was made regarding a sexual assault at a military base CDC. What would you do if your child was assaulted? Approximately 215 bodies were found buried behind a Mississippi jail in unnamed graves. It’s time to call Damon to the carpet and speak for his hometown. Do Better: Jo Koy, you need to rebound (Damo). Damon speaks to his daughter. Navy Dental, y’all are running scams (Tisha). The Secretary of Defense, the Honorable Lloyd Austin, recently was out of work with no notice, due to elective medical treatment. We later found out it was prostate cancer.
