Die Band Stereolith formierte sich 2016 und stammt aus Koblenz. Das Quartett verfügt über jahrelange Live-Erfahrung aus vorherigen Bands und besteht aus Timo (Git/Vox), Costa (Drums), Simon (Bass) und Daniel (Git). Ihre Musik ist eine energiegeladene Mischung aus Grunge, Punk, Desert- und Stonerrock. Kurz gesagt: Fette, fuzzige Gitarren, rollender Bass, puristischer Gesang und dickem Groove! Die Jungs sind Kids der 90er, was sich unmissverständlich in ihrem Sound widerspiegelt. Der Sound ist ungefiltert, laut, dreckig und fühlt sich an, wie ein wilder Ritt in einem Boogie Van, voll betankt mit Kerosin durch die endlosen Wüsten Kaliforniens.
Im September 2017 veröffentlichen sie ihr erstes Demo. Nach zahlreichen Live-Konzerten haben Stereolith im August 2019 ihre erste EP bei Kurt Ebelhäuser, im Tonstudio45 aufgenommen. Die Veröffentlichung auf Vinyl und digital ist Mitte 2020 geplant.
Einflüsse der Band sind:
Fu Manchu, Kyuss, Failure, The Bronx, Queens of the Stone Age, The Hellacopters, Radio Moscow, 1000 Mods uvm.

This is STEREOLITH. 
 
Formed in 2016, the band has been playing their asses off ever since. 
The sound is best described as a hardgrooving cocktail of all elements that have ever kicked ass since the early 90ies. 
Fuzzy, analog, oldschool, groovy and always true, STEREOLITH has burned down many stages on their way to the top of rock and roll. 
Their new record, which was recorded and produced by Kurt Ebelhäuser (Blackmail) in his beautiful Tonstudio45, will be released (digital and vinyl) in Summer 2020.
It has beamed them into a whole new level of sound and devotion so they can focus on what they love the most: 
Playing live and get the people to dance!
