Young children in Nigeria are adversely affected by the effects of corruption in society and many children are forced into a culture of corruption and crime with little or no understanding of its meaning and long term effects.
We asked a group of young secondary schools students (aged 12 -16) who are championing integrity in their schools and communities in the FCT, Lagos and Kaduna State how corruption is affecting children in Nigeria, and the role that children have to play in fighting it. They also share experiences from taking actions against corruption and advice for other children interested in joining them in this fight.
