For my new album LIFE, the opening track "Genome" sets the tone with a vibrant jazz fusion vibe, blending rhythmic guitar solos with wild, electrifying keys. It's a journey through intricate grooves and spontaneous energy, capturing the essence of jazz rock with a modern twist.

"Whispers of the East" is a composition that blends tradition and modernity into a captivating sonic story, designed to transport you through diverse cultural landscapes and profound emotions.

The melody begins with the evocative sound of a Romanian caval, wistfully singing with authentic melancholy, accompanied by the mysterious tones of a bagpipe, all supported by rich African percussion, generated by tribal drums and tabla (an Indian pair of drums). This deep introduction sets the stage for a musical experience where the ancestral meets the contemporary.

As the piece progresses, the music becomes more introspective and contemplative, reflecting a soul filled with suffering and pain. This "dark mood" is not accidental; it speaks of inner struggles, of the pain and melancholy that sometimes weave through our lives. The instruments intertwine to create a dense, emotionally charged atmosphere that challenges you to look within yourself.

In the end, the ethereal sounds of the handpan join in, bringing a note of peace and balance. This is the culmination of the journey, the moment when all the emotions and cultural influences unite in a harmonious conclusion.

"Echoes of the Roads" is a musical composition that carries you through the depths of tribal rhythms and the peaks of electronic energy, evoking a world where past and present meet in captivating harmony. This piece, blending styles such as techno, trance, EDM, and progressive house, takes us beyond the familiar, into a realm of sounds that feel as ancient as they are modern.

In the opening moments, ambient sounds and tribal rhythms immerse you in a mysterious space, where a female voice, with subtly dark undertones, guides your steps. This voice echoes an ancestral past, a legacy of ancient rituals while intertwining with the electronic textures of the instruments, retaining its freshness and the power to surprise.

As the melody progresses, somewhere along the journey, new sounds emerge. Wind instruments, some electronically synthesized, wrap the tribal rhythm in a Balkan veil, creating an exotic atmosphere, full of life and mystery. These sounds seem to invite you into a ritualistic dance, where every beat and every note draws you closer to an inner revelation.

Towards the end, the female voice takes on a ritualistic strength, transforming into a tribal chant that deeply resonates with the pulsating rhythms of the drums and electronic beats. Hello and welcome! I'm an independent composer, musician, music teacher and producer from Düsseldorf/Germany. I played guitar and/or keyboards in various (rock/prog/indie/fusion/whatever) bands for years. Now I spend most of my time hanging out in the studio, creating tracks for video and TV content.
