I love music and produce the genre that I love which is Progressive Trance specifically in the style of Trance music from the late 90s to the early 2000s. When I started this project back in the summer of 2002. After coming up with numerous names that would suit my style coined as ‘light, airy and melodic Trance’ I settled on the name ‘Goldengate’..

Gordon McInnes is from Glasgow and has lived there all of his life. He has been writing and producing music for the past 27 years. Gordon comes from a musical background. His late father was an ardent home producer in his spare time, writing and producing music in the style of New Age and ‘Gregorian Chants’ and has strongly influenced Gordon in his appreciation for the New Age Genre, Enya, Deep Forrest, Enigma. Gordon’s music has been heavily influenced by well known Trance acts such as 'Chicane' ‘Solar Stone’, ‘Blank and Jones’, ‘4-Strings’, ‘Space Brothers’ and ‘Rank 1’ all of which have influenced Gordon’s Trance projects whereby he goes by the alias ‘Goldengate’ which he started as a Trance project back in 2002.

Hello and welcome! I'm an independent composer, musician, music teacher and producer from Düsseldorf/Germany. I played guitar and/or keyboards in various (rock/prog/indie/fusion/whatever) bands for years. Now I spend most of my time hanging out in the studio, creating tracks for video and TV content. Trying to be versatile, mixing and matching all kinds of genres I like. And I still don't use gen AI for my music.

It was quite a long way to get to this place. But now I'm here. Just listen.

AWSM is an indie-folk artist and songwriter hailing from Los Angeles, renowned for his stripped-back, guitar-driven sound. His minimalist style, marked by evocative guitar melodies and poignant lyrics, draws inspiration from icons like Johnny Cash, Skinshape, Leon Bridges, and Michael Kiwanuka. 

At the helm of AWSM is Asim Khan, whose music captures the essence of our times with a focus on vulnerability and well-being.

Asim's journey to music is far from traditional. After a prosperous career in business he then earned his MD to practice medicine. However, a devastating Valentine’s Day revelation prompted him to turn to music for solace. What began as a personal endeavor quickly resonated with listeners, and the support and connection he found through his music encouraged him to embrace his talents and continue recording.

AWSM believes in the healing power of music, crafting songs that reflect his own experiences while offering comfort to others. His work promises to resonate deeply, providing a mirror for others to see their own struggles and triumphs through his heartfelt art.
