PYRO are an Indie Rock duo with an energetic stage presence.  Their meaningful songs with well thought out lyrics and riffs are performed with passion and attitude. Since releasing their debut single in November 2016 they have made a real impact in venues across Scotland.

Connor McCarthy leads on vocals from behind the kit whilst delivering a thundering sound on the drums together with Cameron McLean on guitar and a few friends he calls “pedals”. The lads are probably the youngest band currently gigging in Scotland with a sound of this quality. 

Despite being influenced by other two piece bands like Royal Blood, White Stripes and Slaves, they have a very clear view of their style and sound. 
Scottish Radio Presenter, DJ, and music writer Jim Gellatly recently featured them in The Scottish Sun, and after playing their debut single on his radio show described the Scottish music scene as “in safe hands for the future with bands like PYRO coming through”.

These lads have just released their 3rd single along with their debut EP Forget the Silver Lining…… there’s no stopping them.
