Performing this song was no walk in the park. There's a certain mood and feel to this one that I feel separates it from the rest. Endeavors like this sometimes make me wish that I had other singers to help collaborate with me but once it's done I'm usually glad that I put so much effort on it and did it all myself. Of all my songs I think this is the one that I enjoy the most listening to through my I Pod.

On the Internet’s newest song, “Come Over,” Syd’s lovestruck tenderness is contrasted with darker moments of romantic confusion, showing that there can be conflict in even simple love songs. Much of the track is driven by the lust that accompanies puppy love, emotions that are the backbone of countless pop tracks. But Syd’s smooth, lilting vocals pair specific vignettes—waking up to the sunrise, watching TV in bed, drinking champagne—with a rich blend of punchy drums, plucky bass, and a slinky guitar solo. It’s a euphoric sound that elevates the chorus—“If you just let me come over babe”—into a jubilant request. The song’s ending, a rapped coda, by the Internet’s other members, lamenting how their lovers want diamonds and Birkin bags, adds another layer, indicating not everyone in the band is in the throes of passion. With “Come Over,” the Internet turn the most basic conceit of wanting a crush to come over into something a little more artful and a lot more complicated.
