Matias Larrosa and Martin Gardoqui join forces once again, this time landing two deep and intelligent cuts on Francesco Pico's Magnitude Recordings.

'Bora' is a slow moving heady builder with subtle traces of acid built around a mysterious eerie vocal, whilst 'Laki' take things even deeper into the abyss with it's dubby sounds and dreamy soft pads on a arpeggiated synth.

onedotsixtwo welcomes Argentina’s Juan Franco Rivera aka JFR with his beautiful composition ‘I Lost Myself’, complimented by a sparkling remix from label head, Tripswitch.

JFR is a young talent emanating from Mendoza whose rapidly-growing stable of tracks and remixes on labels including Manual Music, 3rd Avenue, Balkan Connection, and Forward Music have been gaining consistent attention and support throughout the scene. Having studied piano and guitar passionately since the age of 15 he has an intricate knowledge of melody and rhythm and uses this to great effect in his productions.

I Lost Myself is a journey of a composition, ever growing and expanding with new layers of lush melodies and textures, held together by a warm bassline, and driven forward by intricate shuffling percussive elements leading into a sublime breakdown, and further uncovering more layers with an ethereal gated vocal.

For the remix label head Tripswitch draws on his innate understanding of composition. Opening with sweeping orchestral strings that carry lush vocal elements over a deep but gentle kick and sharp yet gentle hi-hats and shakers. An infectiously mesmerising topline leads into the warmest of old school ‘Orbitalesque’ basslines which is further accentuated by celestial reverberated picked guitar flourishes.

From a peninsula jutting out into the Mediterranean Sea, ARTN soars high above the Lebanon Mountains with immaculate "Kontrol". An elemental groove rolls gently into the ocean where waves of sound pulsate softly through powerful bassline pattern. Delayed motifs ricochet, criss-crossing over each other in muted patterns and white-noise washes crash against the rocks in cascading sound.

Greek mythology meets modern day musical philosopher as Simos Tagias epitomises a fresh new sound. Reworking a bassline with consummate "Kontrol", the beast is tamed with as LFOs slow and speed across reverberated synth lines while a glorious percussive groove forms a powerful bedrock. Straight from the sound garden, Weird Sounding Dude rises out of the bustling Bangalore metropolis with grace and dynamic energy. Smooth motifs drift alongside muted arpeggios as a driving beat and hypnotic percussion wrestle back "Kontrol".

Analogue power permeates through northern Ukraine, Tech D finds a new "Kontrol" via sonic architecture that builds through relentless beat and soaring melodic phrases. The result is a stunning juxtaposition of sound that blends delicate touch with fascinating rhythms.

Next up we have a Northern Irish takeover from Rikki Sawyer and Darren Bray with remixes from fellow Belfast natives, Ultraverse and GSEP.

Pals Rikki and Darren have worked on previous releases together but never as a duo, this magically evocative progger marks the beginning of a fruitful partnership. In original form its a powerful mid set bruiser. Tribal drums pound away with distant anger, while arps and melodics keep interest. Vocal ad libs act as points of high emotion.

On remix duties, GSEP draws on his years of experience to tease every drop of emotion from the original motifs, adding in a few of his own for good measure, while Ultraverse, fresh from successes with Balkan Connection and Nick Warren's The Soundgarden takes us on a dreamy ride through our subconscious.

After the Cairo-based producer FULLTONE made his debut for KELLER LABEL in 2018, he is finally releasing a complete ep with A SINE FROM THE NORD. The three originals convince with the dubby basslines and organically precise rhythm elements that are so typical for FULLTONE . With a good portion of ambient, the remix by POWEL creates a gigantic area and leaves behind a snowy winter landscape.
