A man finds himself walking into a casino in asia, presumably on a trip inducing substance, giving him a sense of artificial euphoria. He experiences a heightened, but fake sense of awareness. He succumbs to his trip. Maybe he meets a prostitute. Maybe she comes later.
He may be deep in thought.

He steps out into the busy streets of this highly populated east asian city, looking for a taxi. He gets in. The prostitute is by his side. They may be making out in the taxi. But his trip is becoming faker. It feels synthetic. But there’s no way of going back now.
You can tell he’s deep in thought. This is a very interesting experience, although now he’s just in it.

They arrive at the destination. A hotel?
They’re having sex. He feels as if he were in a movie of sorts.
Everything is pristine and plastic and he can’t fully access his emotions.
The lenses of the drug he’s taken is blurring the romance. He doesn’t feel connected to her.

Now comes the end of the night before he will go to sleep. Maybe he goes to work afterwards. Maybe he wants to change things.
