We all experience at certain times in our lives challenges that call into question our benchmarks. It is then an occasion to find new opportunities to move forward. It is also an opportunity to open ourselves up better to others and to move towards new ones perspectives, like a passage that takes us to a new place.

So i wanted to greet a top-woman, with one off the best known prayers: "Ave Maria".

Frank Vincent Zappa (December 21, 1940 – December 4, 1993) was an American guitarist, composer, and bandleader. In a career spanning more than 30 years, Zappa composed rock, pop, jazz, jazz fusion, orchestral and musique concrète works; he also produced almost all of the 60-plus albums that he released with his band the Mothers of Invention and as a solo artist. His work is characterized by nonconformity, improvisation sound experimentation, musical virtuosity and satire of American culture. Zappa also directed feature-length films and music videos, and designed album covers. He is considered one of the most innovative and stylistically diverse musicians of his generation.

I have a cassette tape from 1977 which Texas born Doug McCourtney sang an original song he had written, I was able to extract his vocals and my backing vocal and provide new music arrangement with his vocals added. It was an honor to create this in memory of Doug. Gone but not forgotten. He was a true talent.

“Bach, Satie, Moog”
This piece is constructed from four-bar, and occasionally eight-bar, phrases recorded almost entirely in one-take improvisation, then combined into blocks.

The title itself was simply taken from words that happened to appear on the spines of books on my shelf. But since that would sound a bit dull, let me add some explanation.
	1.	Bach
In today’s textbooks on Western classical music, “the great Bach” always appears. Through The Well-Tempered Clavier, he demonstrated the possibility of composing in all keys and made a major contribution to the organization of musical tones. That is why this piece begins with piano and—though it didn’t exist in his era—the cry of a strange bird (in fact, it was the cat in the OJ household).
	2.	Satie
Erik Satie proposed the idea of “furniture music,” often seen as the origin of ambient music. He was known for inserting humorous performance directions, a rebellious gesture that anticipated a rock-like spirit. At the same time, his compositional skill was first-rate: beyond his classical works, he left behind many pieces that resemble what we would now call pop songs. If he were alive today, he would surely be producing masterpieces of both ambient and pop music. This track was composed while imagining such a figure.
	3.	Moog
Dr. Robert Moog turned the sounds generated by electronic circuits into something anyone could play—through the instrument known as the synthesizer. His achievement is so monumental that it helped define the very shape of modern music. I believe he deserves to be praised alongside the great composers, and so I chose to inscribe his name in the title of this piece.
