We continue our travels with Sun Ra, extraordinary musician, experimental artist, and eccentric visionary.   Born in 1914 in the segregated, divided south, Ra had an experience with beings from Saturn that inspired his artistic life and work.  While born of and tuned into the big band generation, Ra transcended its forms to attain his own unique realm.
