July 2021, written quite quickly, I’d taken a picture of the blue house and wanted to write a song with that title, simple as that!  Listen with headphones.


Blue House
 

I live in a blue house,
Blue like the day,
Blue like the sky 
With the clouds blown away.

You had a red house,
Red like a fight,
Red with the shouting
In the middle of the night.

I live in a blue house now,
With Love in a Mist
And Glory of the Snow,
I live in a blue house now,
Not blue like the Blues,
But blue as the water’s flow.

I live in a blue house,
Where everything’s cool,
There’s no place for trouble
In my Casa Azul

You live in a red house,
Of chaos and strife,
I couldn’t stay there 
That’s not my life.

where the world ends is when I existed
what is truth when it lies fixated

my thoughts they fall in tandem  
I see strangers and panic at random

I pray to mother mary but it’s
all illusion until I start drinking

well-water will rise in earth
the scorched land and comet hearth
and whoever put holy water next to me,
it’s no bother, it chills levity 

and if I’m a hypocrite, I’ll stick my bubblegum in it
if I stick it on your artwork well, I’ll chew it straight to hell
and when I get there lines are formed, some are sleeping queens
adorned in radiant whistles aimed at the sky,
light them up! let them fly!

light them up, let them fly!
I wanna get it on where tongues are twisted
the stuff that makes gum chewy? it is… it is…
whatever it is, I missed it

one more moment fast
where rockets fly in the night cosmic blast
where all soldiers pinned beneath the sky, 
don’t cry, I got bubblegum

it’s a mystery to me, worth lies beneath cosmic beauty
it scars me wide it’s coming straight to Ayhem (Son of a Lion) surprise
One more time I stick my bubblegum in your eyes
I’ll have you blind than lie to me one more time
