The Money

Fortunately, there are many good mothers and increasingly also good fathers in the world. However, there are exceptions to this rule. In the case of fathers, these exceptions have been seen for some time and violent fathers in particular are sanctioned more quickly and the affected children are better protected from them. 
Violent mothers are still a big taboo topic. This may have something to do with the fact that they usually express their violence more covertly and subtly than violent fathers. 
The following song is based on numerous experiences of children who have become victims of maternal violence. Representative for this is a story told by a 12-year-old boy who fled from his violent mother to his father (both parents had been separated for a long time).

After the Harvest

This was a guitar improvisation of mine some years back.  Unfortunately my guitar playing is always subpar, so the recording was cast aside until I met Richard John.   
Knowing he is a seasoned guitarist, I sent him my file to enlist help.  Without much being said, Richard just came back in a couple of days later with a professional rework of my ragged track and with new touches as well.   This is what I'm sharing here today.
