Flappers Comedy Club & Restaurant In Two Locations:  Burbank and Claremont 

BURBANK CLUB:  Flappers Comedy LLC is operated by a group of people who are passionate about comedy.  Proprietors, Barbara Holliday and Dave Reinitz, operate the Flappers Comedy Club in Burbank that is 7000 square feet of good times which features 4 Stages and a Full Restaurant and Bar with a 1920’s theme and is “Still Celebrating the Repeal of Prohibition”.   The main showroom seats 225 and has played host to major comedy headliners from around the country such as Bill Burr, Christopher Titus, Maria Bamford, Blly Gardell, Jim Breuer, Doug Benson, Tom Green, Margaret Cho, Greg Proops, Dave Coulier, Craig Shoemaker, and many many, many more.  The club also has a smaller 60 seat showroom, “The Yoo Hoo Room,” which showcases an edgy mix of national headliners and LA’s hottest up-and-coming comedians.  Patrons are welcome to hang out and eat and drink before and in between shows at the 60-seat bar, where the No Blender Late Night Bar Shows take place every Wednesday  through Saturday at 11:30pm. CLAREMONT CLUB:  Flappers Comedy LLC is operated by a group of people who are passionate about comedy. FLAPPERS UNIVERSITY  Both Locations offer a full range of comedy classes for kids, teens and adults that include everything from stand up comedy, writing for late night televsion, improv and even business of comedy classes such as Marketing and Promoting yourself as an artist.  Students will also particpate in showcases and have lots of opportunities to view shows.  At Flappers University, we believe that comedy is truly an art-form—a combination of raw talent and technique. Shannon Gettins, FU’s dean, has been wowing audiences as a club and corporate comedienne for the past decade. Her raucous  humor and sharp comedic insight won her top spot at the California Comedy Conference in 2006, and took her all the way to the finals of California’s Funniest Female in 2007.   In 2005 Shannon began coaching at Judy Carter’s Comedy Workshops and two years later she launched Comedy Relief, teaching stand-up comedy and Improv to adults and teens all over Southern California. To begin, this is a tale of how my very existence was twisted and transformed in a most peculiar way. Please have a seat, for I wish to take a moment to relate to you the fascinating odyssey which ultimately led to my reign as the Prince of Bel-Air. I was sired and reared in West Philadelphia. As a lad, most of my time was spent at the neighborhood recreation center where I would laze about and relax in a most charming manner - that is, when I was not engaging my chums in a friendly game of basketball at the schoolhouse. Around this time, two young hooligans had begun to stage a campaign of vandalism and intimidation in my neighborhood. When my mother discovered I had had a bit of an altercation with the ruffians, she insisted I leave town at once and take up lodgings with my aunt and uncle in Bel-Air. As the taxi approached, heeding my beckoning whistle, I could discern the word "FRESH" emblazoned upon its license plate, and took particular note of the pair of plush novelty dice which hung from the rear-view mirror. I was a bit taken aback by these strange omens, but quickly put them out of my mind as I cheerfully called to the driver: "To Bel-Air, my good man!" We arrived safely in Bel-Air at dusk, and as the driver came to a stop in front of the house where I was to live, I left him with the words: "Farewell, sir. Perhaps my nostrils shall delight in your aroma once more!" To be sure, it was a long journey, and as I gazed upon my estate in all its splendor, I knew once and for all that my rightful place was on the throne - as the young scion of the great and mighty kingdom of Bel-Air!

Zabel started playing in local clubs and pubs in and around Brussels (Belgium) where he developed his Dj skills. In 2006 he moved to Breda (NL) and recently (2015) Zabel Moved to Innsbruck (Austria). Among others things Zabel is co-organiser of the underground Clandestine concepts where he presented already a number of the Dutch best underground House & Techno talents to a broad audience. In 2014 he joined a new label situated in Berlin called Primatmusik. At the moment Zabel tries to lay his focus on Dub House & Techno tracks which make sure your eardrums get their daily overload! He already proved himself on various parties like: Imhouse NL, Lektrik, Night-Noise, HBO intro festival, Klub Bulk, Ballenbak, Kei Goed Gratis, Local Motion, After parkies, Keet hutje, Prima DLX , Playground, Bootrave, & Clandestine.
