Whenever I am walking through a crowd, I always hear someone singing.
Sometimes that singing comes from far away, but sometimes it is unexpectedly heard very close by.

扉を閉ざし
窓を閉め
あかりを消して夜を待つ
鍵を探して廊下をたどる
くらがりで手を伸ばす
夜がその手をつかむ
ねじれた鍵がひかり
ふくろうが爪を研ぐ
Close doors and windows.
Turn the lights off and wait for the night.
Walk along the dark hall and look for the key.
Reach for the darkness.
The night grips my hand.
A twisted key shines in the darkness.
An owl sharpens her claws in the wood.

森の奥へ
羽根を散らして

わたしは
空の鳩小屋
落ちた羽根を集め
くぐもる声で歌う
I release doves from the dovecot to the heart of the forest.
The doves flit from tree to tree, and scatter their feathers.
I am an empty dovecot.
I gather the feathers and sing in a mumbling voice.

You light a candle in the darkness of your eyes.
The fire of the candle is like an incandesced finger.
It flickers and trembles.
You are a thinking lantern.
You gather dark shadows and burn them away.
The candle melts and drips from your eyes.
I sweep away the soot on your eyelids.

(1)Snowy sky. The smell of the smoke. I feel heat only on my fingertips.

(2)A poet died. His words are trailing in the air together with the smoke of bonfire. .

I was waiting for the return of a deceased person inside an abandoned house.
When I looked in an old cheval glass, a shadow of someone passed behind me.

The singer in my tracks is not a human being. She is a synthesizer software named "Vocaloid Yukari".
