Estoy rodeada DE GENTE pero dejo de escuchar, solo oigo el tren como en 2a línea, el crujir del tren, el silbido de los raíles y mi respiración a todo volumen, en un aire extrañamente ralentizado: UN FRENAZO, el vacío de la línea R y mi respiración flotando en el espacio, flotando en el tiempo, flotando en el universo, el sistema solar, el milky way y la galaxia, y en medio de la nebulosa infinita: TÚ.
Allí estás tú, al otro lado del vagón, de la calle, al otro lado de la vida, al otro lado de la noche, al otro lado. Leyendo ese pequeño librito que te han dejado.

I lay down in the tall grass
too tired to carry on
and forever more...this peace I found
in my hidden burial ground
I will keep my bones in hiding
as this ground is an endless sea
each inch just like the other...endless ocean
where the tall grass holds me
my body seems frozen tho...the sun sits high today
and the warmth rolls over, the coldness where I stay
a musket lay beside me
a bayonet a blade
my drum a hole within her
my voice has come undone and frayed
in tatters...
I lay down in the tall tall grass
too tired to carry on

and with each death I live again
through the centuries
