Paul De Mac -  I Gotta Let You Go

I first fell in love with Bassline House during unforgettable nights out clubbing in Leeds in the 2000s. The electric atmosphere, the deep, wobbling basslines, and the sheer energy of the dance floor pulled me in instantly. That raw, infectious sound stuck with me long after the nights ended, and I knew I had to get involved beyond just being a fan.

In 2009, I took the plunge and bought a pair of Technics 1210s, thinking, How hard can mixing really be? Well, let’s just say it was a humbling experience—but one that ignited a passion that still burns strong today. Mixing became more than just a hobby; it turned into a journey, a way to immerse myself even deeper in the music I love. Over the years, I’ve refined my style, experimented with different sounds, and stayed dedicated to sharing my mixes online for others who appreciate Bassline House just as much as I do.

All my recent mixes come with a full track list, so if something catches your ear, you can easily follow and support the artists who make this scene thrive. It’s always been about community, connecting with others through sound, celebrating the genre, and keeping the music alive.

More recently, as of July 2024, I decided to take things a step further and dive into producing my own Bassline House tracks and remixes. It's a whole new challenge, endless experimentation, learning, and refining, but I’m loving every second of it. If you're curious, check them out and let me know what you think. Born in 1980 Started playing when I was 18 playing garage house organ house speed garage funky house 

Played all over the uk had some good times  and met some good people and friends. 

Got into producing music in year 2000 had a good run stopped in 2009 and started up again in 2021 don't really play out anymore but I do get asked. I think I'm too old for it now if you ask me, but I will still carry on making music as it's my happy place. Hope you like the music and thank you for your support. X
