Weep O Mine Eyes is one of the most famous madrigals of John Bennet. It is written for 4 vocal parts and was first published in his first collection, 'Madrigalls to Fovre Voyces', in 1599. 

The composition is an homage to John Dowland, being based partly on Dowland's most famous piece 'Flow My Tears'.

The lyrics to this ever popular Christmas carol were written by English composer George Ratcliffe Woodward (1848–1934). It was first published in 1924 in his The Cambridge Carol-Book: Being Fifty-two Songs for Christmas, Easter, And Other Seasons.

This particular arrangement was arranged by David Willcocks and can be found in 100 Carols For Choirs.

God Rest Ye Merry Gentlemen is an English traditional Christmas Carol. It is in the Roxburghe collection (iii.452) and is listed as number 394 in the Roud Folk Song Index.

It is one of the oldest extant carols dated to the 16th century, or earlier.
