Same Song" is a fun, upbeat anthem that celebrates the power of music to unite us all, no matter where we come from. Inspired by a trip to Ireland and influenced by my own Italian heritage, the song blends the vibrant energy of pop/rock with the folk traditions of both Ireland and Italy—two cultures that, surprisingly, share many musical similarities. With memorable violin and vocal melodies, an infectious rhythm, and a chorus that’s impossible not to sing along to, "Same Song" carries a powerful message: we may have different backgrounds, but we're all dancing to the same beat and singing the same song.

After visiting the United Kingdom and listening to the traditional music played in pubs, Monte couldn’t help but notice that the stylistic choices and instrumentation match the traditional Italian music that he grew up hearing, being the son of an Italian immigrant. Monte was inspired to create a song that shined a light on the modern-day ability to share and learn from various cultures. Monte recorded “Same Song” which was released with great reception in early 2025, but there was a second version that Monte decided was important to release as well, “Same Song II”. “The first release was more Celtic leaning, but I felt that the second version encapsulated the blending of cultures more accurately. I think it’s important to share it,” says Monte. Featuring a Neapolitan artist, Daniela Fiorentino, and bagpipes near the end of the song, Monte captures the concept of the song beautifully. The song shares similar characteristics to artists like Stromae, Aurora and Hozier.
