This is new track that I have been working made with Korg M01D. I decided to create this song because I wanted to create a partial tribute to the 90s aka my childhood (like how Synthetic Groove is to the 80s) and one of the first electronic music I remember which is Eurodance especially like Masterboy, Snap!, Capella, and etc. I know Eurodance is a guilty pleasure for me since it is maybe kind of a more commercial style of electronic music several years ago, but I have a soft spot because I like the synths and catchy melodies of Eurodance. (I think it is better than the so called "EDM" that is the hip thing in North America's mainstream) Another reason I did this track is because I wanted to make another song with Korg M01D but I realize while it is not exactly the best at making more modern electronic music since most of the sounds are from the late 80s-90s with only some modern sounds in the EX bank (there are not too many synth sounds but there are exceptions like the Rave and Sync Lead, though), it is very good at producing 90s music so I decided on making a Eurodance track. This song features more classic elements of Eurodance like the M1 piano and orchestra hits, it also feature some more modern elements like Detune Saw styled Rave Synth and stuttering. If am not too busy/lazy, I will try to attempt to add some vocals. It is called Weekend because I felt how fun something like Fridays nights can be.
