Since school friends Simon Lister and Peter Wilson became PEOPLE GET REAL, the duo have steadily gained a reputation amongst dance music’s elite as genuinely passionate DJs with a distinctly diverse musical taste which they bring to the party every time they play.

Over the past ten years they’ve brought this approach to clubs and parties across the world; from Japan’s Nakameguru district to regular bookings in Spain and France as well as annual soirées to Croatia to perform at both Hideout and Unknown Festival. Pairing this with their continuing residencies at Leeds up and coming Canal Mills and clubbing institution The Garden Party has further cemented their notoriety as DJs who understand how the dancefloor works and has seen them play alongside artists including; Ricardo Villalobos, Dixon, Jackmaster and many more.

Alongside their DJing schedule they continue with their production work with long-time studio collaborator John-Paul Denton. This musical output has brought them a new level of respect from some of the biggest names in modern dance music, including Tiga, Andrew Weatherall, Optimo, and a whole host of other forward thinking DJs and electronic artists.

Originally, Stephen dealt mainly with dub plates when coming to Jamaica, especially since he loves reggae music from an early age and could not imagine a life without reggae. After meeting artistes such as White Mice, Little Mice and John Jr and General Grindsman, as he is especially keen to mention, he decided to take them on tour to the UK and as a result became more and more involved with the Jamaican music scene.

His business partner in Jamaica is orion fire flamez wilson from Port Antonio, Portland. They know each other for 7 years and have decided since to combine their efforts as well as links to form “YardBritish music network & management.flamez is a very humble person. multi talented artist & engineer,flamez is the #1 engineer at yardbritish music.a man who contribute's so much into all working's at yardbritish,infact the inspiration behind yardbritish was flamez belief in our idea.from day 1, Originally, this company was set up not for money but rather for the sheer love of music but it eventually grew and became important to many young artistes in the Portland area. In order to include the Africa connection in the future, he is first of all working on a solid base in the liverpool UK and ocho rios Jamaica and further the cultural and musical exchange between the black Diaspora in the UK and the Caribbean. He has already started the fundraising to brink young UK acts to Jamaica by keeping regular events around the world. Another major concern of Stephen is the support of young and upcoming artistes. The makings of such star quality has existed ever since the former St Hilda's High graduate belted the notes of Midnight Cry at church as a grade four student at Ewarton Primary. Though she hardly sings those gospel tunes these days, they still mean a lot to her since she gains inspiration from her mother, who was the lead singer on her church choir.

"I grew up singing in the church. In fact, if the music scene was different, gospel would be it for me. People are really moved when they hear me sing in church," explained Lawrence, who is just as adept now at deejaying and dancing.

During her sometimes traumatic teen years, music has been a guiding light for Lawrence. With a fractured relationship between her parents, a factor that saw her switching homes regularly between Linstead, Portmore and Ocho Rios, further trauma followed with the untimely death of her mom, when Kimberly was 12. This memory continues to have a strong emotional impact on her, and she admits to breaking down each time she talks about her mother.

Gaining the required break in the industry from Ocho Rios is not easy but Lawrence remains encouraged. She has since penned two songs: Wi a Cry Fi Di Poor and Mama Yuh Gaan, while she has done collaborations
with Potenkle and Tu-Cute, two rising stars from the north coast area. These ventures are being coordinated by Yard British Entertainment, for which she hopes will be released so

Secondly, and most importantly, welcome to the Country Hi-fi sound with music to please a myriad of tastes. On an island on the very edge of Europe, Northern Ireland, an ocean away from the birthplace of reggae and not necessarily the first port of call when looking for good reggae music made inna roots and culture style. However, by making quality music inspired by a love of the music from Jamaica and the ethos behind it's creation, Country Hi-fi is doing it's best to put Northern Ireland firmly on the reggae map.

The name 'Country Hi-fi' is related to the country upbringing of founding member 'Pugs' while also being a tribute to the late great King Tubby and his pioneering sound which echoes far and wide. The Country Hi-fi sound was brought to life in a project called 'Small Town Roots' (available on iTunes) which involved two friends: hip-hop producer/DJ/MC DAZ (www.soundcloud.com/dazmusic) and Pugs (reggae fan and self-taught musician) practically living in a studio for a week with each side bringing their own ingredients to the mix. The result was a series of songs inspired by the roots reggae traditions while telling stories through the songs, which relate to various events in Pugs' life growing up in a small country town.

The Country Hi-fi sound is dedicated to making music with the original enthusiasm and willingness to experiment as our pioneering brothers and sisters in Jamaica so although you can expect to hear lots of one-drop reggae, ska, rocksteady, lovers rock etc. don't be surprised to hear some digital dancehall, house, hip-hop, or even some UK hip-hop/grime style beats, and various remixes, mash ups, and versions: feel free to download and share any tracks you like and spread the word. 

With Pugs working as a one-man-band, engineer, producer, and occasional songwriter, he has managed to work on projects with artists from all over the globe and is always open and happy to collaborate with other artists on whatever the project may be, so don't be afraid to use the drop box, respond to requests on tracks, or send a message about any enquiries you may have.

Pugs also presents a weekly reggae show on Skank FM (an online radio station in Belfast, Northern Ireland, www.skankfm.com) from 6-8pm (GMT) bringing the best in caribbean vibes with tracks from way back in the day to the hottest tracks in the Jamaican chart and everything else in between from hip-hop, DnB, soul, grime, and reggae from  all around the world. Julian Perez developed his love for electronic music during the early 90s, heavily influenced by the House and Techno music coming out of the US, UK, and Northwestern Europe’s techno, EBM, and New Beat. He has established himself as a unique and diverse DJ known for his dedication, discernment, respect, and patience.

In 2010, Julian released his first record, which marked the beginning of his successful music career. He then went on to launch his own label, "Fathers & Sons Productions" in 2012. The label, which focuses on vinyl-only releases, provided Julian with a platform to showcase his sound worldwide. With label showcases in over twelve different countries in the first year and a solid catalog of output, the label quickly gained international recognition and support from some of the most respected artists in the scene. In addition to releasing music on his own labels, he also released music on other respected labels such as Cocoon Recordings, Raum..Musik, and Subwax Bcn among others, further solidifying his reputation as a talented producer and tastemaker. This diverse range of releases showcases, his versatility as an artist and his ability to adapt to different styles and sounds.

To date, every release on his labels has sold out in the first days of sales, which serves as a testament to Julian's impeccable taste in House and Techno production, as well as his ability to spot new and interesting artists. This level of success demonstrates Julian's ability to consistently produce high-quality music, maintain a strong fan base, and stay relevant in the ever-changing electronic music scene.

Fathers & Sons Productions number twelve closed a significant chapter with the release of his first solo album, "Solemnity" in 2016. This 2x12" vinyl release showcased Julian's attention to detail and the evolution of his style, providing a window into the artist's dedication to his craft and his ability to create honest, authentic sound. After taking a much-needed break, Julian is now bringing the label back with a fresh sound and concept, infused with all the energy, inspiration, and knowledge he has gained during his time away. This next chapter starts in 2023, and it’s sure to be a continuation of the label's success and cement Julian's reputation as one of the top-notch label’s head honchos.

Julian launched his very own project, "Girada Unlimited" in 2017, which quickly gained the attention of true music enthusiasts and collectors, known as “Crate diggers." This vinyl-only label was heavily supported from its inception, even before the public knew who was behind it. The label’s tenth release was Julian's second album, "Break-Even" which was released in 2021 after a series of successful records by Julian and other producers. The label continues to deliver quality releases to this day, which keeps evolving in various directions as Julian's vision and surprising his crowd every time.

Throughout his career, Julian has acquired an impressive international reputation, playing at some of the most relevant festivals such as Amsterdam Dance Event (ADE), Outline in Moscow, Sunwaves in Romania, Epizode in Vietnam, BPM Festival in Mexico, and hosting his own events during Sonar Week in Barcelona, Kazantip Festival in Crimea, and Winter Music Conference in Miami. He has also played at some of the finest underground parties and essential clubs worldwide such as Rex in Paris, Fabric in London, Womb in Tokyo, Robert Johnson in Offenbach, and numerous mythical clubs in frequently.
Julian has also been a regular at Underground Ibiza club, hosting his own nights over the summer season. He has also been frequently invited to Richie Hawtin's ENTER. at Space and Sven Vath's Cocoon Ibiza, among others.
He was nominated as Best Breakthrough Artist in 2012, Best DJ of 2013 by Vicious Music Awards, and Best Newcomer category by DJ Awards in 2016.

DJ Oliver is one of the few Spanish DJs who can truly call himself a global DJ having carved out his reputation in every corner of the globe from his countless travels across all five continents year after year. From humble beginnings in his home city of Barcelona, Oliver has gone on to play the best clubs in the world and make countless festival appearances alongside the likes of Carl Cox, Fatboy Slim, Laurent Garnier, DJ Sneak, Roger Sanchez, Paco Osuna and Joeski. Over the years DJ Oliver has also become synonymous with the mythical island of Ibiza through his residencies at both Amnesia and Space for the legendary La Troya parties. Indeed, his impressive performances caught the attentions of BBC Radio 1 when they chose him to recorded a special live Essential Mix from La Troya on the Space terrace in 2006 as part of their infamous week in Ibiza.
As a leading international DJ, Oliver has become a true master of his craft, refining his own trademark sound over the years that weaves between Tech and Deep House but most importantly, always has the dance floor in mind.
