In 2009, Ancient Land was created by drummer Ipse. Together with keyboardist Ipsa they started to create the first compositions and preparing material. Then, he invited some musicians to complete the formation of the band, however, without much success in achieving a stable formation, due to the distance where the rehearsals took place.
    In 2013, vocalist Somniferum joins the band, and they release their first independent Full-legnth called In the Name of the Cross, containing nine tracks, the album addresses the oppression of christianity over Other cultures. In 2018, they release their second Full-legnth called Destroy the Lies, containing nine tracks, the album addresses the lies and hypocrisies of religions, especially christianity. In 2020, they launch his first EP and third independent work called The Symphony of War containing four tracks, the EP addresses in a fictitious way, war and revenge against christianity. Still in 2020, they launched his most current work, the EP called In my Solitude ..., in this EP they approach in a poetic way the degradation of humanity, the forgetfulness of our ancestors and the existential emptiness of humanity.
