Taking the torch passed by bands such as TONIC, Dishwalla, and The Mayfield Four we strive for dynamics that grab the listener, forcing one to take notice. 

There are no “delusions of grandeur” with this group. All members have been recorded, have toured, and all have belonged. The difference this time around is that the chemistry runs deep and true. There will be no taking over the world, no selling 1,000,000 records, no fallacy of something we are not. We know our place in line at the buffet and we hope while waiting for your turn to feast, one of our tunes pops into your head... 

We are a group of 4 individuals coming together for a common goal and resolution. We only wish to properly assemble, document, explain and display our vast influences in a new sound. Our pasts are forged from experiences and endeavors that make us who we are now. From these experiences we are hoping to shape and guide our future together as a band...as a voice...

	I am a photography geek, a Shakespeare enthusiast, a music lover, a jewelry maker, a movie freak, a book collector, a bunny lover, a lizard hating woman from the the Caribbean. I like horror, I like gore and I like pain. Yet, I like baby animals, flowers and girly stuff. I often wear torn jeans, band t-shirts and sneakers. But I also wear dresses, fancy jewelry and stilettos. What can I say? I am a paradox. 

Teaching English is what I do as a profession but the artist in me is never asleep and is in a constant battle to be let out. Writing, reading, taking photos, sewing and watching movies is how I relieve myself from stress along with taking long showers. I am a chronic asthmatic desperate to be a mommy who seeks to conquer the world though I can’t seem to conquer myself just yet. Sam Garrett is an English Singer-songwriter whose music highlights his spiritual journey exploring Eastern Philosophy, Meditation, Yoga and Rastafari Wisdom. Lyrically soulful and devotionally talented, Sam’s music uplifts enlivens and inspires the hearts and souls of people all over the world.


With a skillful combination of vocals and guitar, he lifts the mood with reggae riffs such as ‘Lost In the Moment’ and soothes our busy minds with the soft tones of ‘Higher Than the Mountains,’ offering a unique journey and depth that is rare to experience.

During the pandemic Sam connected to Rastafari wisdom and livity, a connection that has always had a deep place in Sam’s heart. Whilst in lockdown Sam started to feel a pull towards the teachings and example of Haile Selassie and the spirit of Rastafari, which gave solace and comfort during these difficult times. 

Songs started to come through and an album was taking shape inspired by a call for deeper introspection and unity in a time of separation and division.

Sam was inspired by the album ‘Back to the Roots’ by Paul Izak and so after reconnecting online, Sam made his way to Oahu to record the forthcoming ‘Forward to Zion’ album which is set for release in 2023. Sam is looking forward to setting out on the road to share his heart songs, love and wisdom with the world.

Growing up in a musical family, Sam’s father would play a diverse range of records from artists such as Led Zeppelin, Bob Marley, and Stevie Wonder. In Sam’s most formative years, his father took him to all different kinds of concerts on a regular basis. Sam was deeply inspired by his eclectic exposure to music and curious about the creative path of artistry. By the age of 12, Sam had formed his first band and  went on to play in the UK scene for some years before going solo. 

Sam would spend a lot of time writing songs immersed in the rich nature surrounding his family’s home. From this chapter of his life, he released his first EP ‘Be Easy’ in 2014.

Sam would eventually come to meet his spiritual teacher, Mooji Baba, in Portugal. Meeting and deeply connecting with Mooji was an incredibly impactful part of Sam’s path. While living and studying at Mooji’s ashram ‘Monte Sahaja’, Sam would often partake in the contemplative practice of Satsang as one of the attending musicians.

The 2019 single “Light of Your Grace” and 2021 album “Root Down Deep” co-created with fellow spiritual sojourner Mollie Monedoza was born from this chapter, and after experiencing the effervescence of life in Portugal, Sam decided to move there. Now, he spends his free time in between tour dates etc. sipping in the sweet nectar of gratitude, living a life of simplicity and stillness near ‘Monte Sahaja’.

Mooji’s teachings continue to have a profound effect on Sam’s life, which can be found woven throughout the message and essence of his music. Sam’s music is a reflection of his life’s journey thus far, and as his life continues to unfold, his eclectic library of inspirited sounds continue to expand.

About Dynamite

Although I liked to listen to all genres, my strongest interest for hip hop and rap music started at a young age.  I was influenced by numerous artists as my love grew for the genre.  In the early days I listened to Master P and No Limit Records, Lil' Wayne and Cash Money Records, Eminem, Jay-Z, Snoop Dogg, Dr. Dre, N.W.A.,Notorious B.I.G., and 2Pac. These were the days before CD's when you could buy cassette tapes.  My best friend Jeff Thornburg also had the same passion for hip hop.  There were moments where Jeff and I would freestyle over instrumentals for the fun of it.  In 1999, these influences is what led me to really start rapping at the age of 15.  I did not have a fancy setup but recorded freestyles and songs using my personal computer with a standard microphone.  I went by the rapper name Big C, which was my nickname given to me by family.  My cousin Nik Ferrell was a big Eminem fan and loved hip hop music also. He was also an integral part in me partaking in my dream to rap.  He showed similar interest as he rapped and free styled along with me at my house when he visited. After Big Nik made music with me, we did not rap together again until later down the road.  At the beginning of 2000, I wanted a different rapper name than Big C.  So I decided I would be called Young C.  I was still trying to perfect my craft. As with anything, practice makes you better mostly.  My flow was becoming more fluid but I still had work to do.  I had made about 5 songs and 4 freestyles on my computer.  It takes a lot of hard work to be a rapper.  You have to make sure you are on beat, your flow sounds good, and have a nice delivery with punch lines. At one time, it seemed like I hit a roadblock and didn't know what to do about my vision.  I had writers block at times and was my own worst critic.  I remember writing ideas on paper and then throwing them into the trash because I was not satisfied with my work.  Once again I decided to change my rapper name.  I liked the name Jack The Ripper.  Though through my genius thoughts I came up with Dynamite.  This was not a rap persona you heard every day and the name had a pop to it.  Around this time, things were looking up for other rappers in the Chickasha (Sha-Town) Area notably.  All Out Entertainment (A.O.E.) and Johnny Mob had been successful pioneers who really started the Chickasha rap game at an earlier period.  The future was looking good for Papermade Entertainment led by C-Geezy with rappers Young Sed and Roscoe on deck.  Another area rapper K.C. (later known as Braag) was starting to do his thing too.  With these successes they had, I wanted to achieve the same things in the game.  At the start of 2001 or so Fresh2Def led by Sturk with rappers Jerzey (now Blake Tyler) and K.G. had been grinding locally after making a home mixtape.  I was cool with them as we were friends and went to the same high school.  Fresh2Def's roster expanded when local rappers Spreez, Pun,and Roscoe joined. Shawn C made the beats. I had heard their mixtape and gave them my songs on a cd.  Later Sturk had approached me about joining Fresh2Def.  I showed the mutual interest in joining them.  The plan was to do songs together after Sturk's album came out.  In the meantime Sturk and I done a collaboration on Eminem's instrumental "Like Toy Soldiers".  After recording the song, things kind of fizzled out.  It was hard to find time for Fresh2Def and I to get together to record songs.  Honestly at that time I felt like they just didnt want me to record with them.  Our music collaboration became strained.  So I stopped attempting to work with Fresh2Def and began working solo again.   We did remain friends still through this. Around the middle of 2002 I started a label called Loyalty Records.  Soon I formed my own group Dem Shatown Boys with my cousin Big Nik aka Superman,a novice rapper Jeremy Anderson aka Hollywood, and newcomer rapper Josh Walker aka Skully Bonez.   Although we made 3 songs (Superman,Fill It Up, and Da Ice Cream Man) together DSB never really got off the ground.   Hollywood never recorded a song with our group. Once again I was going back to the solo rap scene.  I had writers block again and it seemed like I couldn't find the time to rap.  I even questioned whether or not to go on with rapping because of my struggles.  I am not a quitter though as I learned to push on through everything.  From the years 2002 to 2006 I didnt record anything.  Soon after, I had a falling out with Fresh2Def in December 2005.  The times were hard especially on New Years Eve at a party when my girlfriends brother at the time passed away.  I felt like there was no sympathy felt. I had lost respect and friendship with them.   My anger got the best of me and put all my emotions out through a song about everything that transpired.   That is what got me back into rapping.  I had my swagger back and  I was feeling good.  I moved from Chickasha to Apache because of circumstances out of my control.  I began working at Comanche Nation Casino in Lawton. I was looking for connections to go to a real professional studio for my music to be legit.  Thats when I met a coworker Cliff Barnes aka 5'4" and he had already done some mixtapes and songs with people.  Although we talked about recording hits we never made it to the studio.  Especially because I never seen him after he was no longer working at the casino.  Once again I was back to square one working on my own. I guess some would call it destiny.  I started making more songs again in March 2007 to work on putting out a mixtape. I put out 4 or 5 songs on the mixtape which I gave to my friends and family.  I met another dude at work by the name of Michael Pueblo aka Infamous P (Cool NDN) around May 2007.  He first asked if I liked rap music cause he was rapping with the group 49 Pros and he wanted to give me his cd.  I told him  I was into hip hop and surprised him when I told him I rapped.  He was interested in working together on a song and hooked me up with 3 of his own instrumentals.  At the start of September I wanted a fresh start so I took from my Loyalty Records label because there was already a company by that name.The new  label I created was my new project Southern Loyalty Records. From there we went to J.T.s Starmaker Studios in Lawton with Infamous P, Slo Poke Deuce and I recording Get Dis Money over one the instrumentals.In October I received a phone call from Sturk trying to see if the beef was squashed and see whats up.  We talked about getting back to making some music in the future.  We mended fences and it was cool once again.  Later I squashed beef with Blake Tyler and returned to Starmaker Studios to record 3 solo songs and he recorded 3 of his songs.  It was nice to be cool on every level with my boys.  Fast forward to June 2013 and you could say that was a big month for me.  At the beginning of the month I released my first mixtape The Origins of My Odyssey which featured old material 13 tracks with DSB, remixes, freestyles, and original songs.  At the end of the month I released The Year of Swagger Mixtape with 18 tracks which was the final product of the sampler mixtape released 6 years earlier.  The mixtape featured recordings with artists Sturk, Infamous P, Slo Poke Deuce, Syllablez, D Rymez, Hattman, Flux Pavillion, Miguel, and Maria Chona.  I received a lot of good feedback throughout the years from all of my fans on social media sites such as Facebook and Twitter. With my success I began to work on a third mixtape which will be kept under wraps mostly as a surprise for the fans.  I kept in contact with the artists I worked with for future collaborations.  In July Syllablez and I decided mutually that our "I Can't Stop" song was a success and we ought to work on more material in the future.  That led to us pairing up to form the hip hop group Oklahoma Hustle.  The future is exciting to see where it will take us. Especially with the fact I will be dropping another mixtape on my own and an Oklahoma Hustle mixtape will be in the works.   Check our page for more updates to come.  Thanks to all my fans.

I was 9 years old.. living in Huntington Beach, California. My mother walked me up and down piers, and took me to shops when we were well off. I was young, and happy, slowly learning of what 'money problems' were. But rebellious, and hardheaded. ..I missed my homestate. Oklahoma! I was born there, and wanted to stay there. But as a nine year old, there was little I could do.. So i hung out with people who were older, the 'cool crowd' of the complex. They dealt with me, but I observed what they did, how my mother is, and found self expression. But what's a 9 year old to do? I wasn't willing to apply my schooling. So I wrote a few rhymes. And I was discouraged. I even feel the same discouragement from family now, but eh. Too far to stop now. Anyway, my mother and I moved back to Oklahoma after my aunt was in a terrible car accident. So, we moved to the family home after my grandmother passed and have been posted up ever since. I have writing in my blood, and I can't stop it. I love being a Son. I love being a Father. I love having Fans. And I have always been a fan. I work hard for my daughter, my family, and my music. So, to MY supporters... I say Thank you! Dominic Crane is probably better known to Birmingham rock historians as one half of the criminally undervalued The Boaty Man with Stephen Grizzell before going on to play guitar with Rumblefish ( East West ) and their reincarnation as Low Art Thrill ( Island ). 
 
In 2005 he chose to work independently as a solo singer songwriter. A demo secured an invitation from Squeeze’s Chris Difford to attend his annual writers’ retreat week at Oxenhoath in Kent along with such names as Amy Wadge, co-writer of Ed Sheeran’s “Thinking Out Loud”, Marty Pellow and Arts Foundation Songwriting Award winner, Emily Baker. 
 
Since then his live appearances have been a variety of House Concerts, Folk Clubs and supports that have included George Ezra, J P Cooper, Mike and The Mechanics, Sharon Corr, Boo Hewerdine, David McAlmont, Fyfe Dangerfield, Darden Smith and Pete Wylie. Festivals are often a regular summer feature with particular past favourites including The Acoustic Festival of Great Britain, The Moseley Folk Festival, Godiva Festival, Burtfest and The Birmingham Lord Mayors Show, sharing the bill with the likes of  Donovan, The Bees, Seth Lakeman, Scott Matthews, Jose Gonzalez, Waterson-Carthy, Davey Graham, The Unthanks and Kate Rusby.  
 
His BBC ‘Introducing’ live session prompted further airplay from Janice Long who described  his song American Tan as “glorious and magnificent”. 
 
He remains a favourite with journalists who regard his “stylish crafted music and powerful eloquent lyricism” worthy of artists such as Neil Finn, Elvis Costello and Squeeze…   …“Listening to the dreamily lovely American Tan, with notes of honey and new mown grass to the vocals and its gentle English folk-pop melody, a rather more accurate comparison would be Stephen Duffy while the softly bluesier waltzing Baggageman, the wistfully nostalgic Made In England definitely explain why Difford found him a kindred spirit. Featuring a harmonica that could have come from the soundtrack of some rain-washed street scene in a 40s British romance, the very English languor of Possibilities also calls to mind the

Music defines Chase Bryant. At every level and in often unexpected ways, his truths are expressed in melody, lyrics, hooks and sounds … but his reality goes even deeper than that. Bryant’s heritage is defined by music. His upbringing, his craft, his inspiration and his obsessions are all centered in the same – which is good – because there’s no other way to explain how a 22-year-old Texan could already be a top-flight guitar player, head-turning songwriter, RED BOW recording artist and co-producer of his debut album.

Bryant focuses his muse on the commonalities people share. “We all have a destination,” he says. “We all have dreams we want to follow. I’m no different than anybody else, I just sing about it. It’s my job to put the party on and give people a good reason to have fun.” And that he does, whether it’s in the soaring groove of “Summertime Saturday High,” the sparkling “Fire,” unabashed romanticism of “Change Your Name” or the vocally-charged, guitar-shredding debut single “Take It On Back.”

Raised in Orange Grove, TX (pop. 1,200), Bryant’s grandfather played piano in Roy Orbison’s first two bands and, later, for Waylon Jennings. His uncles co-founded the group Ricochet, which had several hits in the ’90s. “From the time I was a kid, the only thing I wanted to do was play music,” he says.

“I was two or three years old and heard Jerry Lee Lewis’ ‘Lewis Boogie’ come on my grandfather’s record player. I remember hearing him say, ‘My name is Jerry Lee Lewis and I’m from Louisiana’ … and I had an identity crisis! I thought I was Jerry Lee and would walk around saying that. In school, I was the odd kid. There were 20 guitars in town and I owned all of them.”

Conway Twitty, Merle Haggard, Tom Petty, Vince Gill, Bob Wills, Steve Wariner, Bryan Adams and more were early influences, but a confluence of releases brought him to a turning point. “Keith Urban’s Love, Pain & The Whole Crazy Thing and records by Sarah Buxton and Jedd Hughes did it,” he says. “I knew I wanted to play mainstream country – I always knew. But those records told me that I could be that and still write guitar riffs that would stick in somebody’s head.”

“I never wanted to be anybody else,” he says. “My grandfather always told me ‘you can’t be good at being anybody else. You can only be good at being yourself.’”

Songwriting was an integral part of his development. “It goes back, of course, to getting my heart broken in school,” he says. “Some girl broke up with me – I may have been 11 or 12, and I just wrote it down. I was never great at reading, but I liked words, phrases and sentences. The only way I knew to let people know me is through writing. I’d just look at my life, grab some paper and put it down.

“The other thing I’d do is have melodies playing in my head. Something would pop up and I’d just go, ‘There it is.’ ” Encouraged by his parents, particularly his school-teacher mother, he graduated early and moved west. “All I wanted to do was play music and Los Angeles was my first attempt,” Bryant says. “Somebody asked me to go out there and write for this little company and I took the first flight. The dream was that simple, but you can’t stop before the miracle happens. You have to keep going. And I feel like it was a miracle just making it out of Orange Grove. I loved L.A., but Nashville is where I wanted to come. I probably wrote 400 lousy songs before I wrote my first good one. But one good one was enough to get Nashville managers, pluggers and publishers on board.”

Because of his Roy Orbison connection, someone suggested a meeting with Roy’s widow, the late Barbara Orbison, a prominent Nashville publisher, who signed Bryant on the spot, making him her final signing before she passed.

That road led Bryant to BBR Music Group imprint Red Bow Records, to which he signed in August 2013. During one early meeting, Founder Benny Brown, notoriously picky about working with producers, surprised Bryant. “He’d listen to my demos and say, ‘Where did you cut that?’ or ‘Who produced that?’ And I’d always say, ‘In my closet. Cut it myself. Played it myself.’ Benny trusted me enough to co-produce with Derek George (Randy Houser, Joe Nichols). He gave me the reins, which was something I always wanted.”

Brown’s confidence was noteworthy if for no other reason than the fact that Bryant is completely self-taught as a producer. “There were no studios in Orange Grove,” Bryant explains. “My parents took me to a Guitar Center and let me get what I needed. From there, I started building little tracks that I would listen to in the car and compare with what I heard on the radio. I taught myself how to make stuff sound bigger and better.”

Despite being on the cusp of exceptional achievement for someone so young (having recently been named one of “The Best Things We Saw at CMA Music Fest 2014” by Rolling Stone) Bryant sees little difference between himself and the audience. “We’re all fans,” he says. “We’re all friends. And the music is our connection. To me, it’s a lifelong relationship and we’ll all get where we’re going together. That’s the beauty of music. This is the first chapter of my book, and I think people will find it defines where they’re at just as much as it defines where I’m at — because we’re the same – I’m just the guy with the guitar. If I wasn’t, I’d be the guy on the front row with his arm around his girl raising a glass to the guy onstage. No question. It’s just who I am. Music is everything.”
