Looking forward to everybody getting together again soon and maybe we can all learn to grow and share the same garden? OK, I've over simplified, I've probably offended some gardens who are a little more hedged, rewilded or just shady....

Spring is almost here. I’m so excited I wet my plants.

This is a first for Daniels & Durgy. An indulgent bit of fun we had in composing and performing this melodramatic Halloween themed extravaganza. To make it even better we have two of our best friends, Todd & Mike, joining in for the instrumental bridge near the end, something you won’t want to miss!  children in they're costumes!! Oh what a glorious sight!!

Douglas Adams challenged the world and asked the question “Why?” in such a witty and perceptive way that it wouldn’t be an exaggeration to say that it captured my reason to be in a way no writer has before or since. “The Hitch Hikers Guide To The Galaxy” has become an international best seller so it’s therefore a surprise, at least to me, not to see his name mentioned more frequently on regularly published lists of history’s most significant authors.  Whilst it’s no doubt true that I wouldn’t be someone whose opinion you’d seek out as an authority on such things, I do find it hard to believe that a man who created something so hilariously and philosophically original doesn’t get the true recognition he deserves. “Hitch Hiker” was so much more than a work of science fiction.  It was something that taught us the valuable life lesson that there really was no need to have an answer to everything.
Has anyone heard of Douglas? Well, he was certainly the man who let me know I wasn't on my own.

Once again, my grateful thanks to Hans (also a ‘Hitch Hiker’ fan, by the way) for the brilliant arrangement on this song.  But he’s just this guy, you know…
