"Fields Of Hay" was quite a challenge indeed. What originated as a simple riff turned into an epic task although most people seem to be happy with the end result.
Due to Covid lockdown restrictions I wasn't able to get any local singers. The song sat incomplete for weeks until a friend introduced me to a website called Fiverr. 
I was able to contact a Pro Session musician called Alex D who helped out with the vocal. He is based in Cyprus on the other side of the planet. We bounced ideas and MP3's off each other until the final mix and song was completed! Thank goodness for technology! Please enjoy!

This is our rough recording of a song written in 1929 by Albert E. Brumley and published in 1932 by the Hartford Music company. It has been called the most recorded gospel song, and is frequently used in worship services by many Christian denominations. It is a standard song at bluegrass jam sessions and is often performed at funerals, where we have provided it on multiple occasions.
