this next track is one I just made. this is a blend of the gem sounds from the game Celeste. what I did was take all of the gem sounds, the one for getting it, all the tones for the unlocking it, and the sparkling sound the gem makes, and then I blended them all together to make this. if you listen, each time you unlock a gem, there's a different ding that has a different note, I'll play them in sequence, so you'll hear what I mean. anyway, hope you like this.

hey guys, Soundsman here, back for another #Soundsman Saturday. sorry for no content recently, but normal life back on Earth got in the way. now, remember whenever I posted the gem unlocking sound effect from Celest, and I said I'd make you the sequence of gems being unlocked? well, here it is. I wouldn't be a superhero if I didn't keep my word. anyway, hope you like this sequence.

our next tracks are more sound mixes made from the sounds from Celest. so, this next one is a mix of sounds whenever you have the blue crystal heart, which I like to think of as the heart of friendship, like the blue heart emoji if you like. so this is when we all acquire our hearts of friendship with each other and team up.

this next heart we're finding is the crystal heart in gold. this is the heart of honesty and truth. when someone says that someone's got a "heart of gold" this is what they mean, they're good, kind, honest with you, they tell you nothing but the truth, even if they tell you the cold hard truth as I do at times. hope you enjoy this sound.

this one is a looping sound I've made using the crystal heart pulse sound from Celest. this is what it would sound like when one of our coloured hearts we had earlier beats. hope you like this sound.

this one is another sound mix from Celest. here, we've got a cassette preview. what we've got are the sounds when, in the game Celest, you put in the cassette tape, followed by a tape hiss which there would presumably be speech over, but which you can put on your own speech if you like, followed by the clunk when the preview ends. for those of you who don't know what a cassette was, it was a little device into which a reel of audio tape would be wound, which you could play on a tape player. the cassette had two sides to it, so you would play one side, then turn it over and play the other. I'm actually tempted to put some music or speech over this track, with the tape hiss looping in the background, to give it that nice retro feel instead of the cold clean digital feel. here we go.

now, you know how when I'm talking in stories, my voice is deep and booming because of my helmet? well, this time, I'm going to sing to you without the helmet. remember when I did "the sound of silence"? well, this time, I give you "Sixteen tons".
