A cantora ararense Maria Eliza (Magui) lançou seu 6º CD independente em julho de 2012.  Intitulado “Marcas”, o CD traz canções que fizeram parte de seus trabalhos anteriores, como “Quixotes” (CD Metade de mim/2001), “Redemoinho” (CD De todas as canções/2002), “À primeira vista” (CD Palco/2004), “Quadro vivo” (CD Quadro vivo/2006), além de outras, compondo um repertório de 12 canções. 
Esse novo trabalho traz algumas participações especiais, como a do músico americano Tony Levin. Baixista de Peter Gabriel, da banda King Crimson e Liquid Tension Experiment, ele já tocou e gravou com grandes nomes da música, entre eles Pink Floyd, John Lennon, Paul Simon e David Bowie. Grandes nomes da música brasileira também participam do CD, como Albino Infantozzi (bateria), Arthur Maia (baixo e vocal), Kito Siqueira, Hugo Hori, Tiquinho, Reginaldo16 e Nahor Gomes (metais da banda paulistana Funk Como Le Gusta) e o quarteto de cordas da sinfônica de Campinas formado pelos músicos Aramis Rocha, Robson Rocha, Daniel Pires e Deni Rocha.  Os músicos que acompanham a cantora há dez anos João Batista da Silva (Dão – teclados), Daniel Coimbra (vocais) Marcos Oliveira (bateria) e Paulo Belinassi (bateria), também participam desse novo CD. Os arranjos e a produção musical são de Eduardo Kusdra.
Com apoio cultural da Nestlé Brasil, Nova Sorvetes, Almeida&Budoya, Rodebem, Krepischi Materiais de Construção, Arte&Efeito, Grafimec, Embalagens Tibiriçá e Multicores, e patrocínio integral da OHL (através da Lei Rouanet de incentivos fiscais), o novo trabalho traz ainda um DVD com depoimentos de pessoas que fizeram (e ainda fazem) parte da carreira da cantora, como Ivan Fábio Zurita (presidente da Nestlé Brasil), Mário Castelar (publicitário), Osvair Cabrini Jr (diretor da Rede Tiradentes), Reginaldo16, Tiquinho, Kito Siqueira, Hugo Hori e Nahor Gomes (metais da banda paulistana Funk Como Le Gusta), o maestro Ednelson da Silva, o colunista Ronaldo Bueno, o jornalista Rafael Faria, entre outros.
A criação e o layout do encarte ficaram a cargo de Rick Figueira e as fotos são de Sidnei Louzã.  A prensagem do encarte triplo foi feita pela Gráfica e Editora Topázio (Araras/SP). O CD e o DVD foram produzidos pela Eletronic Center, também em Araras/SP.

Hailing from Springfield, IL, Armando Zuniga aka “MonDope” is a fresh force to be reckoned with. Although he has only been performing live and promoting for about 3 1/2 years and Producing a little over 1 year still learning the elements of electronic music, MonDope is no stranger to the scene. With an eclectic arsenal of music ranging from roots of reggae, metal to hip-hop and underground, as well as many different forms of electronic music, there is never a dull moment in his sets. In the summer of 2010 Mondope came together with other local DJ's/Producers to form Killinoize, a production company interested in bringing the new wave of bass music to Illinois’ own capitol city.
Killinoize quickly gained a following of like-minded enthusiasts and bass heads in the region. Mondope’s sets are energetic and demand your attention. He will bring anything from glitch-hop to dubstep, drum & bass, crunk, moombahton, breaks, funk and even jungle/reggae to the dance floor. Able to feel out any crowd at any moment, he delivers a HEADY blend to get down to, already playing along side National acts such as Jantsen, Hugs&Drugs, Pretty Lights, Michael Menert, Love & Light, NastyNasty, TankMan, Trowa, Udachi, VibeSquad, DNAE BEATS, R/D, NiTGriT, Splatinum, Minnesota, Freddy Todd, Omega, Elfkowitz, Project Pat, Grimblee, The Car Thief, Alpaca, Phaded, Spankalicous and more to come. Making his mark in the Midwest in 2012 opening for some huge events such as Global Dance Music Festival and Halloween with Datsik this made it a very successful 2012. Based in Ibiza, and resident DJ at the wondrous Pikes Hotel for the last 3 summers. I've been fortunate enough to warm-up for the likes of Artwork, Nightmares on Wax, Crazy P, Danny Rampling, Waze & Odyssey, Ben Pearce, Maribou State, Bushwacka, and 2 Bears throughout this amazing residency.
I was bunked up in Leeds for the best part of my twenties, spinning dusty vinyl & scratched CDs in various buildings, backrooms, and broom cupboards across the North. During this time I had the chance to play alongside a lot of my favourite DJ's and producers, including Maurice Fulton, Hot Toddy, The Revenge, Aeroplane, PBR Streetgang, and Death On The Balcony.
I've been DJing for 15 years, promoted loads of nights, played alongside loads of dead good DJ's, and ran a pretty cool radio show for 3 years. My parents didn't bring me up in a camper van listening to Pink Floyd or buy me a set of decks for my 6th birthday, but they did like a bit of Fleetwood Mac and Michael Jackson. Does that make me cool?

The past year has been a whirlwind with The Silver Lining adding their cool, sexy edge and unrivalled individualism to match the hottest venues in town. A four piece band consisting of two soulful lead vocalists (male and female) and a range of unique multi-instrumental talent ranging from guitars, drums, piano and percussion has made TSL one of Sydney's most sought after bands.

Turk Tresize is the embodiment of dusty backroads, Rock ‘n’ Roll. Turk’s music drifts through the best decades of Rock ‘n’ Roll and takes his listeners on a story-telling trip through time.

Raised on his family’s farm in Cannons Creek, Victoria, Australia, Turk is a music man that has embraced the hand that life has dealt him. Turk has managed to perform music across the globe, operate a successful annual music festival and launch a record label that released his highly-touted debut album, 'Soul Casino.' He has accomplished this while fighting a deep-rooted battle for the family's land. Turk continues to tell his intriguing story in the form of song with his sophomore album, 'If It Is to Be.'

'If It Is to Be' draws attention to Turk's rock roots while sharing stories of hard-won lessons he learned while growing up. The album takes you on a musical journey. It is a classic rock album with sounds varying from a 60’s and 70’s Led Zeppelin and Pink Floyd vibe with songs such as “Whole Lotta Crazy” and “Too Much”.  Songs such as “Lipso” combine Doo-wop stylings with alternative rock sounds. The song “Car Park” stands out on its own as a political anthem and “has a real tongue-in-cheek, jam it up your ass, feel to it, which I like,” says Turk. 

The ultimate driving force behind 'If It Is to Be' lies in the track “Sweet Monica,” a tribute to Turk’s mother who lost her battle with Multiple Sclerosis with Turk by her side. The song gives listeners a glimpse into Turk’s heart with the lyrics “If it is to be, it’s up to me”, a motto Turk’s mother recited to him throughout his life. These words make up not only the inspiration for the album, but Turk's entire life. “Life is what you make of it, and it is up to you to put the pieces together to live the life you are meant to live,” says Tresize.

From his early days as a musician, Turk has been ready to journey wherever his music took him. Based in London one of his first bands acted as his initial ticket to playing music outside of Australia. By playing shows in London and throughout Europe, Skippy's Nightmare gained notoriety and received an opportunity to open for a major act. It was at this time that Turk received word that the bank was trying to take possession of his family farm. Turk instantly made the decision to return home to Australia.

Upon his return and continuing to battle the bank, Turk was growing and learning through life’s trials and tribulations.Turk continued songwriting to express his lifelong story thus far, resulting in the making of ‘Soul Casino’. 

Tresize knew he wanted his next album to show the diversity his music. The album maintains similar melodic songwriting and storytelling as ‘Soul Casino’ but with a significantly different feel. 

In pursuit of living the life Turk knew he was meant to live, he packed his passport, flew to Nashville, TN and began his mission to ‘make something happen’. With his charismatic personality and no-nonsense attitude, he quickly made connections and friends in Nashville’s respected music scene. 

Soon after, Turk met Producer, Andrija Tokic (Alabama Shakes, Hurray for the Riff Raff, Benjamin Booker) from The Bomb Shelter, a studio that specializes in recording and mixing entirely to tape with no Pro Tools or Auto-Tune. After discussing Turk’s music, the two decided that 'Soul Casino' would be recorded at The Bomb Shelter.
'Soul Casino' included a cast of exceptionally talented artists. Most notably, Brittany Howard from Alabama Shakes appeared as a featured backing vocalist on many of the tracks. When looking back at Soul Casino, Tresize states, “Without being a wanker, I think it turned out pretty good!” 

Turk’s musical story-telling continues to be an open book of who he is, where he came from and what he stands for. ‘If It Is to Be' is a rustic rock album composed for music lovers who crave the authenticity of the classic rock generation and are seeking a fresh voice within the genre.

When Amelia Mae graces the decks the mood changes as she lifts the energy with her tribal techno/house, soulful melodies & infectious smile. She hails from Melbourne, & known amongst the industry as the Sorceress of refined DJ sets, but these days her focus is production. With a passion for electronic music spanning many decades, she started out her journey as a DJ back in 2000 when the scene world-wide was exploding. Prior to this, being classically trained in flute, guitar & bass. Over the years she’s set a standard performing at mainstream events, & supporting touring artists such as Christian Smith, Wehbba, Dosem, Perfect Stranger, Citizen Kain, Adana Twins, Weiss, Atmos & Peter Juergens/Peter Gun/Ten Madison to name just a few.
 
2011 saw her take the crown for the Australian Pioneer Pro Dj Search, performing back then as Sorceress, which gained massive support from the EDM. Respected sets have included opening Rainbow Serpent (2014), warming up for Marc Dosem at Maitreya (2015), headlining The Half Moon Party Thailand & opening night for the Oregon Eclipse Gathering, UKI Art Car (2017). She’s also featured at most of Australia’s iconic festivals such as Subsonic & Strawberry Fields, Rainbow Serpent Festivals/Rainbow Spirit, Future Music Events, 2012 Cairns Solar Eclipse, Akasha Festivals, Earth Festival NYE, Wide Open Space, Manifest, Earth Frequency, Winter Solstice, Fractangular, Tribeadelic Events, Babylon, Chi Wow Wah Town & many more.
 
As a solo artist, Amelia has refined her style consisting of intricate rhythms & soaring melodies across techno & house with a soulful & uplifting edge. Production wise her collaboration with Marta Kodo produces a more eclectic & deeper melodic/organic house repertoire with releases on Deepsessions Greece, Solardish Germany, G-Mafia Brazil, Brise Records Germany, Like That Underground Germany, Avioground Milan, LuPS Amsterdam & Ready Mix Montreal, gaining airplay on Pure Ibiza Radio’s 'Instru Mental' & 'Wake Up Ibiza' programs. After receiving such a positive response to her productions, she was invited to close the station at Pure Ibiza Radio as live international guest for the summer season of 2018. With the release of EP 'Catch Me' with house tracks Round & Round (feat. Che-Rhythm), Catch Me & Clematis, there’s plenty more production works in the pipeline including a 2nd EP release for 2024 through Solardish with 'Rinsed/Cala Vadella Sunset', as she releases now under birth name Amelia Mae. ive always been into electronic music from as early as i can remember, 
my parents always played music around our home so listening to the early synth music from artists like depeche mode, kraftwerk, vangelis and jean michel jarre soon i began to have a fascination with synthesisers,  thats where my addiction to techno started, while most of my friends were spinning on their heads listening to classic electro and break dance music from the mid to late eighties, the track that turned it all around for me once i heard it was...phutures acid tracks...i was instantly addicted to the sound of the roland TB303 and acid house...that was me gone....lost in space to that little silver box!!! this lead me into the harder edge of dance music...techno...a dusty copy of ..detroit, the new sound of techno was the album that turned me on to the sound of technology communicating with man..first job was in  a record shop  (thanks vin and jay!) there i could get access to the latest new music and i met some fantastic people, also i got the chance to play vinyl on decks all day and get paid for it! perfect!  i started getting the confidence and the urge to dj myself, i also started to out together a basic studio and started producing techno and acid music, my first real gig was at the eclipse, an illegal sweat box of a club where i played a mix of belgian techno and  acid...again met some fantastic people there, from there i went on to dj all over the uk and into europe, from venues like illegal warehouses (as part of the tribe of munt crew) in many random buildings throughout london  , the arena, middlesbrough,  years festival in genoa italy 2001 (to 30000 people!) No mans land festival, Underground sound, Manik, Stinky Pink, 
i prefer intimate gigs as like to see peoples faces whilst i take them on their trip.
On the production side my studio has grew steadily and evolved into what i need to produce my music,  i produce acid, techno, tech house and experimenting with other electronica such as dubstep,dub electro and IDM, witchouse and gravewave basically anything synth related :)  im also  helping to run vector rhythm uk, a vehicle for techno and its hybrid off shoots,  encompassing a soon to come regular radio slot on techno FM and a digital label...i  also play live sets mainly acid and techno and im experimenting with witch house and gravewave  ill post some tracks here soon...some old and some new....hope u enjoy....KEEP IT ACID!
