From dreamy waters through amber clouds, you find yourself somewhere high above... The mood-driven sound of Dresden-based isolate combines a wide range of musical influences in a genre-transcending manner. 
With a common background of Postrock, Paul E. Riemer, Johan Keilig and Niklas Ciecior met in 2014 and started working with big drums, reverby guitars, mellow pianos, breathing synth-layers and airy vocals. Since then, their musical style has grown to a modern kind of multifaceted progressive Pop, while still retaining heavier elements. After gaining reputation as promising live act, the three-piece released their self-recorded debut EP „A“ in December 2018, along with a music video for their first single „ASLEEP“. In June 2019, the band released their second music video "ADRIFT”.

Being a practicing architect, I think in terms of organising matter within space permanently.
Making music, I feel the intangbile and temporary nature of everything.
To my mind, both realms a part of an even mind.

After having improvised happily for a long time, I´m currently working on a longer musical piece. This is to become more of a composition than a jam, aiming to bring more structure to my music. 

I´ve been producing electronic music for a decade now under the names elektronade, fReu, Faba Reu and eventually even mind. My pieces vary from melodic solos, experimental soundscapes to tracks driven solely by rhythm. To describe my music, I cannot find a better genre than „space“ which isn´t a genre really.

My love for music grew on the musical tradition of my family. At the age of six to twelve, I played the cello – not always keen but it certainly was a decisive step in developing an understanding and feel for music. In my teenage years, I developed an intimate relationship to the piano which really opened up the realms of music to me; especially in terms of improvisation.  In my twenties, after having condemned electronic music as „not actually being music“ (there´s nobody playing an instrument here, right?!), I discoverd this genre and started loving it for its endless timbral possibilites and its high potential of energy. In 2010, aged 20, I started producing electronic music myself using only a computer. From 2014 on, I started gathering small-sized hardware electronic instruments (first samplers, later drum machines and synthesizers) which gave that tactile feel of an actual instrument back to me. In 2018, I ditched the computer for producing music alltogether as to limit the possibilities and to focus more on improvising rather than arranging music. Now, in 2020, I´m on the way from pure improvisation back to more of a composition.
