ZATOX - Italian Techno & Hardstyle

The Italian Hardstyle music icon Zatox is a fundamental character in the hard dance scene. With a career that spans over two decades, he has not only witnessed the evolution of the genre but has been a pivotal force in shaping it. From playing at iconic festivals to the groundbreaking tracks that have become anthems for an entire generation, Zatox's journey is a testament to a relentless pursuit of musical innovation.
Gerardo Roschini (Rome, Italy) uses his alter ego Zatox to bring his taste of raw and unpolished dancefloor gold to stages and clubs in all corners of the globe. His influence on the hard dance community is acknowledged worldwide, evidenced by multiple appearances in the DJ MAG TOP 100 and his presence on international stages such as Defqon1, Tomorrowland, EDC, World Club Dome, Mysteryland, and WDF Korea, among many more.
Zatox started his musical journey in the early 2000s, experimenting with sound to find a balance between capturing his inner turmoil and resonating with those sweating it out on the dancefloor. The creator of ‘Raw-Style’ (2010) continued his journey with the groundbreaking hit ‘My Life’ (2012) and maintained his success with tracks like ‘Rumble in the Jungle’ (2015) and the crowd-favorite ‘For Ever’ (2017). His latest album, ‘The Unstoppable’ (2023), reaffirms his dedication to musical experimentation, introducing new fusions of techno and intense dance music. Tracks like ‘Apollo’ and ‘Techno Power’ show a glimpse of Zatox’s future sound.

Jump into the madness of Major Conspiracy! This iconic Dutch DJ Duo was born from a shared passion for music and a boundless love for the Uptempo Hardcore Scene.

These 2 Major guys, better known as Jari van den Broek and Sunny Laan, have become an indispensable part of the Uptempo Hardcore Scene in recent years with their unique “Major” sound and enthusiastic stage performance.

Major Conspiracy started back in 2018 and has been a part of the BKJN Family ever since 2020. From then on they released a lot of collabs with the best artists of the moment and Major hits like “Cocaine Last”, “Dwars Door Het Dak”, “Klapt Door Je Botten" and their “Trip To Holland” Remix. They created a huge, attached fan base with thousands of Major Fans!

After highlights like the Defqon Black and the Intents Festival Mainstage, the 2 boys outdid themselves again with their own sold out “GVD” event in Poppodium 013, which many visitors experienced as one of the best Uptempo Hardcore parties ever.

Prepare yourself for a lot of more madness. The party just started!

Patrick Van Kerckhoven is considered to be one of the founding father’s of the hardcore sound. He is specifically responsible for initiating the creation of a sub genre of hardcore that became known as “Artcore”.

Inspired by the House Music coming from Chicago and Detroit, he began his musical career at just 15 years old performing at various clubs around Holland. Most of Europe had not yet been exposed to House, let alone any form of Hardcore. Patrick kept pushing the Hardcore sound throughout the 80′s and 90′s, producing hits such as “Mindcontroller”.

In lieu of his DJ and Producing successes, van Kerckhoven started his own record label “Ruffneck Records” in 1993. This label released over 250 tracks including several major hits such as “Ruffneck Rules Da Artcore Scene” which even managed to hit the European music charts at number 8. After a brief stint making Drum and Bass music with his label “Ruff-teck”, van Kerckhoven continued to craft and create new hardcore sounds.

Around 2000 he launched labels “Supreme Intelligence” and “Gangsta Audiovisuals” which concentrated on the newly invented “Darkcore” and “Artcore” styles respectively.

After many ups and downs within the Hardcore scene, he created Enzyme Records in 2001 to make a fresh start. Patrick did all of the work behind the scenes, in order for his roster of artists to grow and gain popularity without having to worry about any of the stigma attached to his earlier projects. Patrick managed to fool the hierarchy of Hardcore and the entire music scene into thinking that he had retired. The truth was that he was busy at work the whole time managing and creating for Enzyme records and it’s many infamous sister labels such as “Enzyme X”.

Currently Patrick runs several of his own record labels that are prominent in various genres like Hardcore, Hardstyle, Industrial and Hard Techno. These musical elements as well as those that cannot be described are all pieces of the unique puzzle that makes up Patrick Van Kerckhoven and his musical vision.
