I haven’t been out of the convent since I arrived late Tuesday night. 

I’ve now twice had a meal of sardines and rice cakes outside in the seating area near the cafeteria/kitchen. 

I was thinking about finding a little market to buy some fruit, but after spilling a little of the liquid from my can of sardines onto my pants, and after writing my friends and family of my endeavour to sleep, I’ve been feeling like staying in and reading about whatever.
