BIO: Sequënce is a musical project by Italian DJ and producer Francesco Lo Tauro. Born in Rome (Italy) but now based on Australia’s Gold Coast, Sequënce is an artist who encompasses all aspects of deep and tech electronic music. Inspired by artists like Paco Osuna, Loco Dice and Richie Hawtin, Sequënce has developed his own sound and has become one of the most competent DJs currently playing their trade in the Australian region.

Sequënce has become one of the area’s most well respected artists and often provides support for some of the industry’s biggest hitters. Having already featured on the same line ups as international acts like Joseph Capriati, Paco Osuna, Jamie Jones, Heidi, Pan-Pot, Dyed Soundroom (Apollonia), Sante, Rebekah, Oliver Giacomotto, Lauren Lane, Detlef, Pawsa, Rossko, Camelphat and many others.

Away from the dancefloor, Sequënce has also started to make a name for himself on Australia’s festival circuit and the International scene . Well received performances at We Are FSTVL (London), Elrow Town (London), Elements Festival, Festival X and Hï Ibiza (Bodyworks) will be sure to pave the way for even more festival and International shows in the near future.

As well as a sublime selector, Sequënce is also an extremely accomplished producer with a string of successful releases already under his belt. Signed to a number of labels, including Klaphouse Records, Plastik Galaxy, Be One Ltd, Datagroove, Habitat and many others. Sequënce has highlighted his collaboration with Mattia Musella, Europa, released on Natura Viva, as his favourite production to do date. His recent release, "About the Party", was released on Deeperfect earlier this year and with more music due for release on large International labels such as Klaphouse Records it is clear to see that Sequënce is very much a producer who is in demand at the moment.

The future definitely is bright and the diary packed for this young artist. Anyone that has seen him play out live knows firsthand that there are no gimmicks or cliches about this Artist, just unadulterated raw talent and an ingrained love for the music he plays.

Keef Cassell discovered the art of mixing around 1995. Playing around mixing different styles soon turns into a passion for house music which will occupy most of his time to finally turn into a trade. He later discovered production, the next logical step in turning into a professional.

Keef has performed across the north West of England, including the infamous Sankeys nightclub in Manchester.

With his recent production transition into deeper Tech, Keef Cassell's ability to move between styles on the dance floor or in the studio whether it's House, Tech House or Techno is a clear sign of knowledge & experience.

I never know which part to start with….the personal or professional. But I guess when I think about what is most important to me….. above all else….it’s being a mother. I have 4 children between the ages of 8 and 15 years. I call them “the loves of my life” because truly that is how it is. But just as much as they can fill me with so much joy that I burst, they can also bring me to my knees.

There is heaps I love about motherhood, some parts I’m indifferent to and a few bits that I don’t like. I wouldn’t trade it for the world and I wouldn’t be the woman I am today, without the experiences that motherhood has brought me.

On top of all that I’m a Clinical (and Forensic) Psychologist. I’ll save the conversation about “what is a forensic psychologist” for another time. What I really want you to know is that one of the areas that I love love love working in the most, is with mums and their bubs, toddlers, pre-schoolers, primary and high school aged kids. The lot!

There are so many reasons why I love working with mum. Probably the biggest reasons are because motherhood creates an openness within women that fosters enormous growth…and I find that both a privilege and exciting, to be a part of.

Mums are raising the next generation of adults and deserve a lot more support than they get…even if they have a wonderful support network and certainly if they don’t!

PS. Please be clear that everything I have said about mums applies to most Dad’s too. I know this. It’s just another conversation that’s all…..

D.I.R.T. aka Dope Innovative Rap Techniques (Edward Terrell Stiger) was born in Texas but relocated at an early age to Virginia Beach, Virginia. There, he began to develop his trade amidst the same musical climate that has recently spawned artists like the Neptunes, Missy Elliot, Timbaland and the Clipse to name a few. He began to write rhymes as early as eight years old constantly being pushed to improve his skills by the wealth of talented MCs around him, battling and freestyling with VAs best rappers. His influences include Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, Redman, Busta, James Brown and Curtis Blow. When he was seventeen, his group V.A.N.A.M. (Virginias Next Artistry Movement) was featured on Studio Lifes Compilation Album from Third Eye Productions featuring producers like Knottz Raw (Busta Rhymes) as well as Area 51 Compilation by local producer Joe City also featuring Smooth tha Hustla. In summer 2001, V.A.N.A.M. released an independent album with three tracks played on Clear Channels 102.9 FM. At the same time, Dirt also appeared on Star Tracks first mix tape which also featured the Clipse and the Neptunes. In 2002, he began making beats and writing hooks for two local groups, Tru MCs and RNS, producing over 75 songs in only six months. In summer, 2003, he moved to Miami, Florida with only forty dollars in his pocket & a DREAM based on a brief demo a friend had sent him of up and coming Miami based producer Chris Chinchilla Chelius. The creative chemistry between the two resulted in Dirt permanently relocating to Miami and starting with Chinchilla Sould Out, a production label that offers an array of services like writing, production, arrangement and artist development. Since the two have met, they have produced 100 tracks. The first release, A Dime n a Nickel EP has had two singles Feelin Right and Soulfire played on 103.5 the Beat and Mix 96.1, two of Miamis biggest Hip-Hop stations. The single Feelin Right was spun by DJs in every major club from Broward to Miami. Dirt opened for Luke at Club Ecstasy and performed live at the Fast And Furious Tour and Concert opening for Lil Flip and Jin. In 2007 Dirt made his 1st BillBoard spoting, with “Kool Aid” A Song he Co-Wrote and Produced for Lil Bass (9years old) & J.T. Money. This Song Peeked at number 4 on BillBoard 100 Hot Singles Sales! Around the Sametime Dirt relocated bak to his home town Dallas, TX were he has been hard at work. Working with Artist like Kobe Savage, The VIP Records, & Jermaine Dupree’s Island Records Dondria Nicole ( Ms Phat Phat) Recording Over a 100 song in a 2 year span. Also producing different genre’s of music, now tapping into to the Rnb Soul, Neo-Soul Market team up with (Johnnie Taylor’s Grandson) Verse. Dirt has Executive Produced and Relasee 2 Projects with Verse 1st being the 35-South Compliation “South-Bound” A Blend of Urban Rnb & Rap. The Reggae&Rock&Roll circus JAMARAM is ON THE ROAD again! Twelve years of JAMARAM with 7 LPs and over 1,000 live shows clocked up in Germany, Europe and the rest of the world – and no end in sight! The gig monsters of the south of Germany are hitting the road again with their new album »LA FAMILLE« (release 12th Octobre 2012 Soulfire Artists/Rough Trade) and looking forward to a wild escalation of clubbing with their fans.

Even with their seventh! album »LA FAMILLE« and interminable road trips behind them, it's hard to fit the close-knit circus family JAMARAM into any neat music genre. Branching out from the basic Reggae canon »LA FAMILLE« has Ska&Rocksteady (Lonely/Track 2, La Famille, Miniature Walrus, Babylon), Pop&Rock&Latino styles (Solid As A Rock/ Track 7, Turn On The Lights, Wasting Time, Slow), Singer/Songwriting (Hard To Hold On To/ Track 4, Plant Song, Hold On, Try Try Try) and naturally something ecstatic (Hey, Sweet Madelaine). For these 14 tracks, mostly recorded live, the band and their long-standing producer UMBERTO ECHO were aiming at an organic, earthy sound with minimal extra effects. All the songs should work one-to-one in concert without a safety net. The result is an astoundingly multifaceted long-player with new and undreamt of soundworlds from the JAMARAM Universe. As drummer Murxen Alberti puts it: “… some tracks on the new album are a bit softer at the corners than you'd expect for a Jamaram live show. We've left ourselves more time for nuances and still moments and out of that, Jamaram is developing a new force of its very own.

The album title »LA FAMILLE« reflects the fact that after many years and numerous group experiences (highs and lows, the lows mostly from the subwoofers) you're more than just a bunch of flatmates who go on trips together and have fun. Family structures start to form: In ever-changing role-play, Mums and Dads try to keep the show on the road with all the means at their disposal. There are lethargic brothers and temperamental sisters to be handled, there are grumblers who have to be coerced into acting, there's Grandad who's not as resilient as he once was, and there's even a rich uncle. You find it in the best of families, you can somehow tell they're from the same stable and when the chips are down, they'll hold together through thick and thin.

Floatinghome is the brain-child of Irish singer, Aidan. Based in Berlin and playing an indie-folk-rock music with hints of Aidan's native Ireland creeping into the rhythms, their sophomore album, "Dreams for Dreamers" is being released in summer 2016. 

Their debut album, "Le Grand Discours" was released with Hazelwood Vinyl Plastics / Rough Trade in 2012, under their previous guise (and singer's name!), "Aidan". They have performed extensively around Europe, including support slots with Villagers, Get Well Soon, Anaïs Mitchell and Wallis Bird.
