W00dy exists as a force on Earth to bring unabashed joy to the dancefloors of speaker freaks and free spirits everywhere. Inflecting the dynamic club rhythms of their native Baltimore roots with the boundless curiosity of DIY experimentalism, no sound or time signature is off limits in their pursuit of chaotic exuberance.  Titles of releases like 2017's this world has rendered me, 2018's Relentless Kickdrum and 2019's My Diary help give a name to the extraordinary chaos wormhole they help create—an enveloping maelstrom of intimate cacophonies, held together by electrifying pulses of love. 

Through years of unorthodox gigs and friend making across the American experimental music world, W00dy currently resides in the steel city of Pittsburgh alongside many other electronically oriented weirdos and high octane dance music innovators. They just released a new LP and an upcycled genderless clothing line called Theylien Life Force. No matter the time, space, or place, W00dy can be found constantly dissolving binaries wherever they appear, helping others smile, and making something beautiful out of this twisted world we all reside in together.
