Music fan, Glastonbury Emerging Talents Judge (2013 ,'14, '15, '16 & '17) and relentless gig goer.

 Sapan has been established at January 2010. The trio Baykal Ada (Guitar/Lead Vocal), Cihan Deniz (Bass) and Hikmet Altınyıldız (Drums/Back Vocal), is expressing melancholy and hope together through their music. The band has an indie like sound and they are making songs in Turkish, English and French. 
Tahsin Güngör Aktürk plays the guitar along with the band during live performances.

Sapan has performed at most of the important live music venues in Istanbul, at Efes Pilsen One Love Festival and several university festivals. The band has released their first EP “Gökyüzünde Yeryüzü” at Novermber 30th with an EP launch concert at Bronx Pi Stage. 

Sapan has won the first place and also Miller Jet Tour which is the jury’s special award at the Miller Music Factory competition and the second place at 2nd Be The Band Music competition. 

Lately they have released their second EP 'Tundra' and now are focusing for their first professional album.

Sapan, 2010 yılının ocak ayında Baykal Ada (Gitar/Vokal), Cihan Deniz (Bas) ve Hikmet Altınyıldız (Davul) üçlüsü tarafından kurulmuştur. Indie rock tarzındaki şarkılarını Türkçe, İngilizce ve Franszıca seslendirmektedir. Sahne performanslarında ise Tahsin Güngör Aktürk gitarda gruba eşlik ediyor.

İstanbul’un önemli canlı müzik mekanlarından bir çoğunda, Efes Pilsen One Love 10 ve 11,ile çeşitli üniversite festivallerinde sahne almış olan Sapan, 2011 Kasım ayında İstanbul Bronx’ta lansmanını yaptığı ilk EP ‘si “Gökyüzünde Yeryüzü¨ ile Sapan, Türkçe repertuvarından dört şarkıyı dinleyicilerinin beğenisine sundu

Sapan Miller Music Factory 2012 ‘de de birincilk ile jüri özel ödülü Miller Music Tour West’i ve 2. Be The Band yarışmasında ikinciliği elde ederek büyük bir başarı sağladı. 

Son olarak yeni EP'si 'Tundra' yı yayınlayan Sapan, albüm çalışmalarına başlamıştır.
