If a track you submitted does not appear in this list, it’s probably because another of your tracks appeared in our Fresh Faves or on the BBC Music Introducing Mixtape during the last three months — we ask that artists featured on either wait three months before resubmitting to give others a chance. We also don’t accept short previews or SoundCloud GO tracks that can only be heard as 30 second previews, and tracks made private after submission, which cannot be included in playlists. You will be able to resubmit the track in future. Tracks that have been previously submitted and tracks from banned artists will also be removed.

Draw another circle describes a melodic and melancholy walk around familiar roads and paths that lead into one another. A circuitous route through small town love.

The relaxed, strolling acoustic rhythm and high floating melodies sooth while the thud of synth bass and drum make you quicken your step or press down harder on the go pedal . This New Wolves sound is slowly becoming more familiar and distinct with these old world acoustic and recent world synth sounds meshing together.

"Written in the Autumn of 2020 when the world had shrunk down to a few alleyways and empty streets around my part of the city, I felt both comforted and lost. Draw another circle came out of this time and place."

This song inspired by the tiers of lockdown in Scotland - it is about reminiscing about being free. About the good times. With a bouncing bassline, driving beats, uplifting melody, and lots of bleeps and synths. This uplifting song will make you feel happy during the lockdown. The song was recorded, mixed, and mastered in my (spare room) studio. In Edinburgh and Glasgow. Hope you enjoy it. Thanks for taking the time to listen.

Spaces Between Spaces are Edinburgh musician Darren Wilson and Glasgow based artist Lee Robertson. Darren has been writing and performing alternative rock, post-punk and grunge music in and around Edinburgh, Scotland for 25 years. Lee has a love and extensive knowledge of dance music that goes back 30 years.

Although both Darren and Lee were into electronic music in the early 90s, it wasn't until recently that a new love for it was found  - a dance music epiphany if you like. This was galvanised after seeing the late Andy Wheatherall at the Glasgow School of Art - incredible. This totally inspired them to create some electronic music of their own - so along with a lot of experience writing and producing music, extensive knowledge, and a lot of ideas, they started on a dance music odyssey. A dance music audio/visual experience at SWg3 was their first live event.

Spaces Between Spaces sound can best be described as a tapestry of bleeps and swelling synth waves forming an epic soundscape - all encapsulated by driving beats. The natural backdrop to a sci-fi b-movie…
