"Buzzwords" is a sound sculpture installation of large illuminated paper wasp nests hand-made of fabric and paper-mache, which were originally suspended from under a large oak tree, newly created for the 2021 Autumn Lights Festival in Oakland, CA, USA.

The hive cells of the wasp-nest glow, and downward-directed small speakers hidden in the nest emit a chorus of human beings imitating the sounds of wasps, bees, cicadas, and other insects.
