The casting call was posted on Moby’s Facebook and included some very specific extras, "S&M gimp rhythmic gymnast", "eight roller-skating ghosts", "12 goth choir members", "2 obese bearded bikers in red speedos", "a punk rock brass brand" and " a drunk king: guy with beard age 35-50".

Both Matt & Jaren Cerf (Fenja) rose to fame as part of ‘Cerf, Mitiska & Jaren’ clocking up many a successful release across the Armada group. Canadian native Raneem has seen similar success having chocked up releases on labels such as High Contrast as well as the iconic ReBrand Records ran by fellow Canadian Max Graham!

The original mix is a sweet, tranquil groove driven ode loaded full of exquisite vocal lines and harmonies revealing a story of true love. Amply backed by a jackin’ bass line groove, punchy beats and a pulsating pad melody this is a refreshing production which breaks from the monotony!  

On the flip we have enlisted the fresh production talents of the enigmatic Avenue One. Having already nailed a remix for Aly & Fila which appears on the remix version of ‘The Other Shore’ we knew that we had to get these in form producers to give us another take on this sublime creation. Big bold beats, stabs and drops a plenty fill this alternative mix which is the perfect countermeasure to the rounded original mix.

Welcome once again to RNM, the home of Vocal Trance. One of the leading ladies around these parts is the incredibly talented Ana Criado who really needs no introduction. Ana has been keeping busy of late, teaming up with the likes of IRA, Rafael Frost and Tenishia as well as releasing her own ‘Ever True’ compilation, one of our favourites. Now it’s the turn of Russian producer Aurosonic to lend his considerable talents and combine with Ana to give us ‘The Force of The Blow’.

If you’re a fan of Aurosonic (and we definitely are) then you’ll no doubt be a fan of his signature sound: laid back vibes with a chill out feel, gorgeous synth work and an electric atmosphere. It’s all here and more as well as another stunning performance from one of our favourite vocalists.

This live act by Vladislav Isaev, aka Scann-Tec was performed and recorded at the Morpheus Lounge and mastered for a better sound quality in the Ultimae studio. It presents a couple of revisited well-known tracks from the Russian artist as well as plenty of new music in his typical hypnotic downtempo style. 

The Nuit Hypnotique 4 event took place on 12th March 2011 at la Filature in Mulhouse. Previous editions were set at Les Dominicains de Haute Alsace in Guebwiller but we quickly reached the space limit so Les Dominicains partnered with La Filature to organise the 4th event in their venue within the frame of their Tran(s)e Festival. The Audience was invited to apprehend music in 3 physical positions, lying, sitting, standing. 

Ultimae presented live acts and DJ sets by AES Dana, Solar Fields and Krister Linder, Circular, Carbon Based Lifeforms with their two singers Karin and Ester, H.U.V.A. Network, Laurent Chanal, Scann-Tec, Tajmahal, SYNC24 and Hol Baumann with a background of video projections by Dave Arc-I and Harriett Cavanagh.

On December 3, 1990, Enigma released its debut album “MCMXC a.D.”. It was the beginning of an exceptional global success story. A quarter-century later Enigma is launching “Enigma Moments” - an online event to commemorate the project’s 25th anniversary together with you, loyal Enigma fans.

With seven albums released and an eighth one yet to come, Enigma has created many wonderful different musical stories. Thousands of you have shared with us the role Enigma played in their lives. 25 years later we want to bring all these moments together: to share each others’ experiences and, most importantly, tell “your” story of Enigma.

Enigma (musical project)

Enigma is a German new age musical project formed in 1990 by Michael Cretu, David Fairstein and Frank Peterson.The Romanian-born Cretu conceived the Enigma project while working in Germany, but based his recording studio A.R.T. Studios in Ibiza, Spain, from the early 1990s until May 2009, where he has recorded all of Enigma's studio releases to date. Cretu is both the composer and the producer of the project. His former wife, pop singer Sandra, often provided vocals on Enigma tracks. Jens Gad co-arranged and played guitar on three of the Enigma albums. Peter Cornelius also contributed to Enigma during the 1990s.

"Sadeness (Part I)" is a song by German musical project Enigma. The song was released in November 1990 as the first of four singles from its first album, MCMXC a.D. (1990). It became an international hit, reaching number one in 24 countries.[citation needed] In the United States, the song peaked at number five on the Billboard Hot 100 and number one on its dance chart. A sequel to the song, "Sadeness (Part II)" featuring Anggun, was released on Enigma's eighth studio album, The Fall of a Rebel Angel (2016)
"Sadeness" was written by Michael Cretu (under the pseudonym Curly M.C.), Frank Peterson (under the pseudonym F. Gregorian), and Fabrice Cuitad (under the pseudonym David Fairstein). The lyrics are in Latin and French; the Latin text includes a quotation from Psalm 24:7-8. The Extended Trance Mix from the CD single contains some additional male French lyrics. The female French lyrics in both this version and the regular one are whispered by Cretu's then-wife, Sandra, who at the time of Enigma's formation had already had hit singles as a solo artist.

In 3 steps users actively participated in the creation of a song. They sent in original vocal tracks, decided on musical styles, created covers, voted and commented.

The final song will be accompanied by a user generated cover as well as a digital booklet giving credit to those who actively participated.
