Sunwaves' heroes Cosmjn, Giuliano Lomonte, and NuZau share this wax for a tasty EP fragrant like bread and smooth like butter. Last but not least, Sunrise affiliate NuZau delivers a sharp and bouncy tune called "Last One". Even here, as the track progresses, a dried-out groove sees the rise of dreamy pads and flourishing synths for a proper "Last One" jam.

PREMIERE: Nu Zau - Last One [Bread and Butter Recordings]

Swiss label FreeLife cruise in to 2023 with their first release of the year by innovative beat maker, Lost.Act. The “Cabaret” EP traverses between slick minimal moods with a touch of house class, two originals and a remix from label founder, Gianluca Felline. 

 First up is title track “Cabaret”, constructed upon tight drum grooves, and warm bass movements. Trippy elements breathe life in to the hypnotic force of the track. Gianluca’s remix addresses a glitchy territory, the hi-hats take the wheel, moving the dance floor up a gear. The vocal samples flashing in and out give a pure essence to the almost 7 minute trip. “Backwords” takes things in a more stripped back direction, teasing in curious movements as the track continues to develop throughout with the intelligent loop arrangements. Pensive sounds for the hazy hours of the morning. 

Further beautiful output from a label on the rise, becoming an essential catalogue for the tastemakers amongst us. Landing March 2023.
