A team of teaching and learning staff across Deakin University have created the Tales of Teaching Online podcast to share their stories and expertise as they transition their teaching online.

In Episode 6, Joan Sutherland and Dr Elicia Lanham discuss how she built a sense of community through the use of Microsoft Teams in an IT unit with over 500 students. She provides insights into how students built their confidence in the digital space throughout the unit and strategies implemented to facilitate this. She will share her experience, what worked, what she learnt, and how she iterated it in real time.
